HermèsToile & Negonda Garden Party 36 Tote Bag Toile & Negonda Garden Party 36 Tote Bag

Q: What size is this Hermès Garden Party 36?
A: This bag measures 36 cm wide, 26 cm high and 18 cm deep, with a handle measurement of 13.5 cm. The 36 in the model name refers to its width.

Q: What materials is this bag made from?
A: This black Garden Party combines toile canvas with Negonda calfskin leather trim and handles. It is the canvas-and-leather version, rather than an all-leather Garden Party.

Q: Can I use the Garden Party 36 as a work bag, and will it fit a laptop?
A: Its roomy tote shape is suitable for everyday essentials such as a purse, phone, notebook and small pouches. A compact laptop may fit, but laptop compatibility has not been confirmed for this particular bag. Compare your device and protective sleeve with the listed dimensions, allowing space for the opening and closure rather than relying on screen size alone.

Q: Can this bag be carried over the shoulder?
A: The Garden Party 36 can be carried by hand or over the shoulder using its handles. With the listed handle measurement of 13.5 cm, shoulder comfort will depend on your build and clothing, particularly when wearing a thick coat. No separate shoulder strap is included.

Q: Does the Garden Party 36 have a zip closure?
A: No. The Garden Party uses a Clou de Selle press-stud closure rather than a zip. This allows convenient access but does not fully seal the top, so a separate pouch can help keep small valuables together.

Q: What condition is this particular bag in?
A: It is graded Very Good Condition. The exterior has light marks and scratches throughout the material, while the interior shows light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches. It is a pre-owned piece and should not be expected to look unused.

Q: When and where was this bag made?
A: The product information records the stamp as N and the production year as 2010. The bag was made in France.

Q: Does this bag come with a dust bag, box or other accessories?
A: No accessories are included with this item, as stated in the product information. A dust bag, box or separate strap is therefore not included.

Q: How should I care for the toile canvas and Negonda leather?
A: Gently remove loose surface dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid soaking the canvas or applying household cleaners, alcohol-based products or leather treatments to the fabric. Keep the bag away from prolonged sunlight and heat, and store it upright with light support to help retain its shape. For stains or repairs, seek advice from Hermès or a specialist experienced in canvas-and-leather luxury bags.
