Q: What size is this Hermès Vinyl Kelly Bag?
A: This bag measures approximately 40 cm wide, 30 cm high and 12 cm deep, with a handle drop of around 4 cm. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for the exact size of this item.

Q: What typically fits inside the Hermès Vinyl Kelly Bag?
A: With its roomy proportions, it can hold daily essentials such as a wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses, a small cosmetics pouch and other light accessories. As always with vintage bags, capacity depends on how you organise your items.

Q: Is this bag transparent?
A: Yes. The Vinyl Kelly is known for its transparent look, and this piece is presented in orange-toned transparent vinyl. Because the material is see-through, anything placed inside may remain partially visible.

Q: How is this bag carried?
A: This model is designed to be carried by hand using the top handle. No shoulder strap is listed in the product information.

Q: Is the Hermès Vinyl Kelly suitable for everyday use?
A: It can be used for light daily wear, holiday styling or as a statement collector’s piece. However, vinyl is generally best treated with extra care and not overloaded, especially in vintage condition.

Q: How should I care for a vintage vinyl bag like this?
A: Wipe it gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaners, oils, perfumes and abrasive surfaces. Store it away from direct heat and prolonged sunlight, and avoid pressing the vinyl under heavy items to help preserve its shape and finish.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: This item is listed in Very Good Condition. The exterior shows fraying along the stitching and scratches, the interior has light traces of use, and the hardware is tarnished with scratches. These details are reflected in the product information and images.

Q: Does this item come with any extras?
A: No. According to the product information, this item comes with no accessories.

Q: How can I tell whether a Hermès Kelly bag is authentic?
A: Authenticity should never be judged by one detail alone. Experts usually assess the overall construction, materials, stitching, hardware, stamp details and consistency of finishing. At A Retro Tale, items are carefully reviewed for authenticity before being offered for sale.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: According to the product information, the country of origin label for this item is France.
