Q: What typically fits inside the Loewe Small Basket Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 33 x 19 x 13 cm, it is best suited to daily essentials such as a phone, small wallet, sunglasses, keys, a pouch and other compact items. It is a practical small day bag rather than an oversized carryall, so we recommend checking the Measurements on this page if you plan to carry anything larger.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder?
A: Yes. The Loewe Basket line is designed for top-handle or shoulder carry, and this piece has dual adjustable handles. The handle drop on this bag is approximately 18 cm, so shoulder fit may vary slightly depending on your frame and what you are wearing.

Q: Does the bag have a zip or other closure?
A: No. This bag has an open top and an unlined interior. Many buyers prefer to place smaller valuables in a pouch inside for extra organisation.

Q: What is the bag made from?
A: This piece features a handwoven natural-fibre body with brown leather trim, silver-tone hardware and an embossed Loewe leather patch. The combination gives it the relaxed look of a basket bag with a more refined finish.

Q: Will every Loewe Small Basket Bag look exactly the same?
A: Not exactly. Loewe notes that the Basket Bag is handcrafted, so slight differences in size, shape and weave are normal and part of the character of the style.

Q: Is the Loewe Basket Bag suitable for everyday summer use?
A: Yes. It is one of Loewe’s best-known warm-weather styles and works well for city days, holidays, lunches and light shopping. Because it is open and unlined, it is best for lighter everyday essentials rather than very heavy items.

Q: How should I care for raffia and leather?
A: Keep the bag away from heavy rain, prolonged direct sunlight, oils, perfume and cosmetics. If it becomes damp, blot it gently with a soft cloth and allow it to dry naturally at room temperature. Store it in a breathable cloth bag and avoid overfilling it so the shape stays neat.

Q: What condition is this particular bag in?
A: This item is listed in very good condition, with light traces of use inside and out. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches consistent with gentle wear.

Q: Does this item come with any extras?
A: According to the product information for this listing, no additional items are included. If you would like confirmation before purchase, feel free to contact us.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is carefully checked by our team using detailed reviews of materials, construction, hardware, logo details and overall craftsmanship. We stand behind the authenticity of every item we sell.
