Q: What are the measurements of this Louis Vuitton Drouot bag?
A: This bag measures 22 cm high, 20 cm wide and 10 cm deep. The adjustable strap measurement is listed as 60 cm.

Q: Can the Drouot be worn crossbody?
A: The Drouot is designed for crossbody or shoulder wear and has an adjustable strap. How it sits will depend on your height, build and chosen strap setting; compare the listed 60 cm strap measurement with a bag you already own.

Q: What can I fit inside this bag?
A: Its compact shape is suited to everyday essentials such as a phone, small wallet, keys and a few small personal items. Actual capacity depends on the size of your belongings, so compare them with the listed dimensions and avoid overfilling the bag.

Q: Is the Monogram exterior leather?
A: The Drouot has a Monogram coated-canvas body with vachetta leather details, including the base and strap. This piece is listed in brown and was made in France.

Q: What condition is this particular bag in?
A: This pre-owned bag is rated Good Condition. The vachetta leather base and strap have visible patina, watermarks and scuffs. The interior is in good condition with scratches, while the hardware shows discolouration and scratches.

Q: What is vachetta patina, and is it the same as damage?
A: Patina is the gradual darkening that develops on natural vachetta leather over time. It is distinct from watermarks, scuffs and scratches. This bag has both visible patina and the wear described in the product information, so review the photographs alongside the condition details.

Q: How should I care for the canvas and vachetta leather?
A: Gently clean the coated canvas with a soft, damp cloth, keeping moisture away from the vachetta leather. Avoid oils, alcohol-based products, solvents and household cleaning remedies. If the leather gets wet, blot it promptly with a light-coloured, lint-free absorbent cloth. Store the bag away from direct sunlight, heat and humidity.

Q: Can the existing watermarks be cleaned off?
A: Do not assume that the watermarks can be removed. Louis Vuitton advises against using chemicals or home remedies on natural leather. For this vintage piece, seek a professional assessment before attempting treatment; the listed watermarks form part of its current condition.

Q: Does this bag come with a dust bag, box or other accessories?
A: No accompanying accessories are specified in the product information. Please ask A Retro Tale to confirm what is included before purchasing if a dust bag, box or other accessory is important to you.
