Q: What size is this Louis Vuitton Vernis Cabaret Bag?
A: This bag measures approximately 22 x 17 x 8 cm, with a strap drop of about 24 cm. It is a compact shoulder bag size that works well for daily essentials and evening use.

Q: What typically fits inside this bag?
A: With its compact profile, it is best suited to smaller essentials such as a phone, cardholder or compact wallet, keys, lipstick, and a few personal items. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for the most accurate size guidance.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder?
A: Yes. With a strap drop of approximately 24 cm, it is designed to sit comfortably on the shoulder for most users.

Q: What is Vernis leather?
A: Vernis is Louis Vuitton’s glossy patent leather, known for its shiny finish and embossed surface. It gives the bag a dressier look than classic canvas styles and is especially popular for occasion wear and statement pieces.

Q: Is discolouration normal on pre-owned Vernis bags?
A: Discolouration can occur on vintage and pre-owned Vernis pieces over time, especially with use, storage conditions, and contact with darker materials. For this item, the external condition is listed as Good, with discolouration and marks noted in the product information.

Q: What is the condition of this bag?
A: This item is in Good Condition. The exterior shows discolouration and marks, the interior has peeling and marks, and the hardware is shiny with light scratches and some tarnishing. We recommend reviewing all product images carefully for the best understanding of its current state.

Q: Does this bag come with any accessories?
A: Yes, this item includes a mirror. Everything included is shown in the product information; if another accessory is not listed there, it is not included.

Q: Is the Louis Vuitton Cabaret a discontinued style?
A: Yes, the Cabaret is a discontinued Louis Vuitton style and is typically found only on the pre-owned market. That is one reason it appeals to collectors looking for less commonly seen vintage designs.

Q: How should I care for a vintage Vernis bag?
A: Store it away from direct sunlight, heat, and humidity, and avoid contact with dark fabrics, inks, oils, or rough surfaces that may cause colour transfer or marks. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth and avoid overfilling the bag to help preserve its shape and finish.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: According to the product information, this bag was made in France.
