OmegaConstellation 36mm 2008 Full Set Watch

Q: What are the key specifications of this reference?
A: It is an Omega Constellation ref. 1202.30.00 from 2008 with an approximately 36 mm stainless steel and yellow gold case, yellow gold bezel with Roman numerals, white dial with date at 3 o’clock, and a two‑tone integrated bracelet. The crystal is scratch‑resistant sapphire. Please see the Product information for full details and measurements.

Q: Which movement is inside and what are its features?
A: It uses the Omega calibre 1120 automatic movement, a COSC‑certified chronometer with hacking seconds and a quick‑set date. The power reserve is approximately 44 hours when fully wound.

Q: Is the yellow gold solid or plated on this model?
A: On this two‑tone reference the bezel and the bracelet’s “full bar” gold elements are yellow gold (commonly 18K for the period) rather than simple gold plating. As designs can vary by sub‑reference and year, please review the Product information and photos for the exact configuration of this piece.

Q: What is the water resistance and can I swim with it?
A: This reference was originally rated to 50 m. As this is a 2008 watch, water resistance cannot be guaranteed without testing. We recommend a pressure test before any water exposure and avoiding swimming or showering unless the seals have been checked and replaced as needed.

Q: How accurate should a chronometer‑rated Constellation run?
A: COSC’s chronometer standard for mechanical watches targets an average rate between −4 and +6 seconds per day during testing. Real‑world performance can vary with age and wear. If accuracy drifts noticeably, a service is advisable.

Q: When should I service this watch?
A: OMEGA recommends a complete service approximately every 5 to 8 years, with water‑resistance checks annually if you plan to use it around water. Service needs also depend on use and environment.

Q: How do I wind and set it safely?
A: The watch winds itself on the wrist. If it has stopped, wind the crown clockwise 20–30 turns to start it. Set the time by pulling the crown to the time‑setting position; set the date via the first crown position. Avoid quick‑setting the date between about 8 pm and 2 am to protect the mechanism.

Q: Will the bracelet fit my wrist and can it be adjusted?
A: It fits up to a 19 cm wrist and comes with one extra link. The integrated bracelet can be sized by adding or removing links; please use a competent watchmaker for adjustments. Additional links may be sourced separately subject to availability.

Q: Can I fit a leather strap to this model?
A: The Constellation “full bar” bracelet is integrated, so standard straight‑end straps will not fit. Model‑specific straps or custom end links are required; a specialist watchmaker can advise on compatible options.

Q: What exactly is included with this piece?
A: It is described as a full set and includes the box. Everything included is listed in the Product information on this page; if a specific item isn’t listed there, it is not included. Our photos show the actual contents you will receive.

Q: How would you describe the condition?
A: Very good overall, with scratches on the case, bezel, case back and bracelet as noted. The movement is described as very good with light trace of use. Please review all images for a close view of wear consistent with age.
