Q: What typically fits inside the Prada Cahier Chain Crossbody bag?
A: This is a compact, structured bag with dimensions of approximately 18 × 10 × 4 cm. It is designed to hold essentials such as a large smartphone (e.g., iPhone Pro/Max models, though the fit may be snug with bulky cases), a cardholder, lipstick and keys. The structured "notebook" design limits expansion, so it is best suited for minimal carry.

Q: Can I wear this bag crossbody?
A: The bag features a single chain-link strap with a listed measurement of 80 cm. This length is typically suited for shoulder carry or a high crossbody position, depending on your frame. We recommend checking this measurement against your personal preference to ensure the fit is right for you.

Q: How secure is the closure?
A: The front flap features a magnetic snap closure that keeps the bag securely closed while allowing for easy access. The interior is divided into two compartments to help organise and secure your belongings.

Q: What materials is this model made from?
A: This Cahier bag is crafted from black "City Calf" leather, which is known for its smooth and supple finish. It is decorated with silver-tone metal studs and the line's signature metal corners, inspired by the bindings of antique books.

Q: What is the interior layout?
A: The interior is lined in black leather and features two main open compartments. This accordion-style layout helps separate your phone from other small items like keys or makeup.

Q: How should I care for the studded City Calf leather?
A: Smooth City Calf leather can be susceptible to scratches, so we recommend handling it with care and keeping it away from abrasive surfaces. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth if needed. When not in use, store the bag upright in a dust bag to protect the leather and hardware from dust and accidental scratches.

Q: What is the condition of this specific piece?
A: This bag is in Very Good condition. It shows light traces of use on the leather (external and internal), and the silver-tone hardware is shiny with light scratches. Please refer to the photos for a detailed view of its condition.

Q: What accessories are included?
A: This item is sold as the bag only and does not include additional accessories such as a dust bag or box.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is rigorously vetted by our in-house experts. We verify the materials, stitching, hardware (including the specific Cahier metalwork and engravings), and overall construction to ensure it meets Prada's standards of authenticity.
