Q: What typically fits inside this Prada Shopper Bag?
A: With measurements of approximately 25 × 26 × 17 cm, it comfortably holds daily essentials such as a large smartphone, long wallet, keys, sunglasses in a slim case, a cosmetics pouch, an A5 diary/notebook and a small water bottle. Slim tablets around the 11-inch class can usually fit. Due to the width and height, A4 folders and most 13-inch laptops are not recommended for a secure, flat fit—please compare your device to the measurements listed.

Q: Is it comfortable to wear crossbody or mainly on the shoulder?
A: The bag includes a detachable, adjustable shoulder strap with an approximate drop of 47 cm. This works well for shoulder carry and may sit high if worn crossbody, especially on taller frames. It also has dual top handles with a 14 cm drop for hand or crook-of-arm carry.

Q: How secure is the opening?
A: This model has an open top for easy access. We recommend using the included detachable pouch for smaller valuables and keeping the bag close to the body when commuting. A slim bag organiser can also add structure and compartmentalisation if desired.

Q: What is the exterior material and how should I care for it?
A: It is crafted from sturdy black canvas with tan leather trim and silver-tone hardware. Canvas is durable but can absorb liquids and may show colour transfer from dark denim or richly dyed fabrics. Avoid heavy rain and prolonged sunlight; gently blot marks with a soft, barely damp cloth and allow to air dry. Do not machine wash or soak. For stubborn stains or deep cleaning, consult a professional handbag care service. Store the bag lightly stuffed in its dust bag to help maintain shape.

Q: Is the canvas water-resistant?
A: The canvas is not waterproof. If it gets wet, blot—do not rub—with a clean, dry cloth and let it air dry away from direct heat. Treating the bag with excessive water or harsh cleaners can distort the fabric and leather trim.

Q: What interior features does it have?
A: The interior is lined in black canvas and includes one zip pocket for small essentials. The bag also comes with a detachable pouch that can be used for valuables or quick-grab items.

Q: What accessories are included with this item?
A: This piece comes with a dust bag, authenticity card, brand booklet, a detachable and adjustable shoulder strap, and a detachable pouch. All inclusions are listed on this page under Accessories.

Q: What is the condition of this bag?
A: Very Good overall. There is a small mark on the base; inside shows a light trace of use with a minor stain on the pocket; hardware is shiny with light scratches. Please review the photos for close-up views of these areas.

Q: Does it stand upright on its own?
A: The shopper’s canvas construction and flat base allow it to stand on its own when lightly filled. Using a slim organiser can further help the bag keep a tidy, upright shape.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale undergoes rigorous, multi-point authentication by our in-house experts, including checks of materials, stitching, hardware, brand stamps and codes. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell and are happy to provide additional details on request.
