Q: What does size 80 mean on this Saint Laurent belt?
A: Saint Laurent belt sizes generally refer to the measurement from the end of the buckle to the centre hole, so size 80 is designed around an 80 cm fit. For the best result, compare it with a belt you already wear or measure where you plan to style it, whether at the waist or lower on the hips.

Q: How wide is this belt?
A: This belt measures 2.5 cm in width, giving it a slim and versatile profile that works well with many trouser loops and can also be styled with dresses or tailoring.

Q: How does this belt fasten?
A: It features a classic buckle closure. As with most leather belts, the holes allow some adjustment around the labelled size, although the exact hole count is not specified in the product information.

Q: What colour and hardware finish does it have?
A: This piece is crafted in black leather with silver-toned hardware, making it easy to pair with both casual and smarter looks.

Q: What condition is the belt in?
A: The belt is in very good second-hand condition with light traces of use. The hardware is described as shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with gentle prior wear.

Q: Is anything included with the belt?
A: Yes. According to the product information, this item comes with a box.

Q: How should I care for the leather?
A: To keep the leather looking its best, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, heat, humidity, and excessive rubbing. If it comes into contact with water, gently pat it dry with a soft neutral cloth and store it carefully when not in use.

Q: Is this belt suitable for everyday wear?
A: Yes. A black leather belt with a 2.5 cm width is a practical everyday option, and Saint Laurent belts are often chosen for their clean, polished look that works with jeans, trousers, and more dressed-up outfits.

Q: Is authenticity an important consideration with a pre-owned Saint Laurent belt?
A: Yes, it is one of the most common questions when shopping for luxury belts second-hand. This piece is offered by A Retro Tale, a retailer specialising in authentic luxury vintage and second-hand accessories, and the listing includes clear condition and product details to help you shop with confidence.
