Q: What size is this Burberry Nova Check Boston Bag?
A: This bag measures approximately 30 cm wide, 16 cm high and 16 cm deep, with a handle drop of around 18 cm. It is a compact Boston-style handbag that offers enough room for daily essentials while keeping a neat, structured silhouette.

Q: What typically fits inside this bag?
A: With its compact Boston shape, it is best suited to everyday essentials such as a phone, small wallet, keys, sunglasses, makeup items and other small necessities. Please refer to the measurements on this page for the clearest sense of scale.

Q: Can this bag be worn on the shoulder or crossbody?
A: This specific item is best considered a handheld style. No shoulder strap is listed in the product information, so it should be assumed that no detachable strap is included.

Q: What accessories are included with this bag?
A: No accessories are included with this item. Everything included is shown in the product information, so if an accessory is not listed there, it is not part of this piece.

Q: What is the condition of this bag?
A: This item is in good condition. The exterior shows wear and fraying on the handles, along with creasing and a small split on the piping. The interior has discolouration and some material loss, while the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: Is this an authentic vintage Burberry bag?
A: Yes. At A Retro Tale, all items are carefully vetted for authenticity. For vintage Burberry Nova Check pieces, typical points of review include the consistency of the check pattern, materials, construction, hardware details, labels and overall finishing.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: According to the product information, this bag was made in Italy.

Q: How should I care for a vintage Burberry Nova Check bag?
A: Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and avoid overfilling it, as this can strain the handles and piping. For routine care, wipe gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaning agents. Because this is a vintage piece with visible wear, gentle handling is especially recommended.

Q: Is the Burberry Nova Check design considered a classic?
A: Yes. The Nova Check is one of Burberry’s most recognisable heritage patterns and remains especially popular in vintage pieces. A Boston silhouette in this print offers a timeless look that works well for everyday use and collectors alike.
