ChanelCC Caviar Accordian Bucket Bag

Q: What typically fits inside this Chanel CC Caviar Accordion Bucket Bag?
A: This bag is best suited to daily essentials such as a phone, compact wallet or card holder, keys, sunglasses, lipstick and a small pouch. Its bucket-style shape offers a little flexibility, but it is not designed for bulky items or a laptop. Please use the measurements on this page as your best size guide.

Q: Can this bag be carried by hand and on the shoulder?
A: Yes. This design features a single leather handle for hand carry as well as a longer shoulder strap. The handle drop is approximately 15 cm and the shoulder strap drop is approximately 45 cm.

Q: Is Chanel caviar leather a good choice for everyday use?
A: Yes. Caviar leather is especially popular for everyday wear because its textured finish tends to be more resistant to visible scratches than smoother leathers, while also helping the bag keep its shape well. As with any luxury leather, careful use and storage are still recommended.

Q: Does Chanel caviar leather always feel the same from bag to bag?
A: Not always. Chanel caviar can vary in grain, softness and sheen depending on the production period and style. Some collectors prefer a firmer, more structured finish, while others like a softer feel, so slight variation is normal.

Q: How should I care for this bag?
A: Store it upright, lightly stuffed and away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture. Avoid overfilling it, wipe it gently with a soft cloth, and take care with dark fabrics that may cause colour transfer. If the bag gets wet, dab it dry carefully with a soft absorbent cloth.

Q: What is the condition of this bag?
A: This item is listed in very good condition overall. The exterior and interior both show light traces of use, and the hardware is shiny with light scratches, which is typical for a well-kept pre-owned piece.

Q: What product information is included with this bag?
A: This bag comes with the serial number and box. If any additional item is not listed under the product information on this page, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: What does the serial number tell me about the bag?
A: Chanel used serial stickers on handbags for many years before introducing newer metal plate systems. An 8-digit serial number beginning with 24 generally places production around late 2017 to early 2018. As always, the serial number is only one part of a full authenticity assessment.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: The country of origin label for this item states Italy.
