Q: What fits inside the Chanel CC Tassel Camera Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 20 x 12 x 5 cm, this bag is best suited to small daily essentials such as a phone, card holder, keys, lipstick and other slim items. It is a compact camera-bag style rather than a large day bag, so bulkier items may be a tight fit.

Q: Can this bag be worn on the shoulder?
A: Yes. This piece features a single chain-link and leather shoulder strap with an approximate strap drop of 44 cm. It is designed primarily as a shoulder bag and should sit comfortably under the arm or at the hip on most frames.

Q: What are the key design details of this bag?
A: This vintage Chanel style features dark brown quilted leather, a stitched CC logo, gold-tone hardware, a zip closure with tassel pull, and a tonal leather lining. It also includes one internal zip pocket for smaller essentials.

Q: Is this a vintage Chanel bag?
A: Yes. This item is listed as a vintage Chanel CC Tassel Camera Bag. Vintage Chanel camera bags are especially loved for their lightweight shape, practical zip-top design and classic house details such as quilting, leather-woven chain straps and tassel accents.

Q: Does the bag have pockets or compartments?
A: Yes. The interior is lined in tonal leather and includes one internal zip pocket. The main compartment closes with a top zip, which helps keep everyday essentials secure while maintaining the slim camera-bag silhouette.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: The overall condition is rated Very Good. The exterior and interior both show light traces of use, while the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. This means the bag presents very well overall, with gentle signs of careful previous wear consistent with a vintage piece.

Q: What is included with this bag?
A: This item comes with product information including an authenticity card, care booklet and serial number tag. If any other item is not listed in the product information, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: How should I care for and store this bag?
A: For vintage Chanel leather, gentle care is best. Wipe lightly with a soft cloth, avoid harsh leather products that may alter the finish, and keep the bag away from prolonged heat, moisture and direct sunlight. When storing, keep it upright, lightly stuffed to help maintain shape, and protect the chain so it does not mark the leather.

Q: Is the serial number important on a vintage Chanel bag?
A: Yes. On vintage Chanel pieces, the serial number is an important part of the bag’s identity and is commonly checked alongside overall craftsmanship and accompanying authenticity details. This bag has serial number 3119762 and also comes with an authenticity card and serial number tag.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: According to the product data, this bag was made in France, which is one of Chanel’s recognised production countries for handbags and leather goods.
