Dimensions & Specifications

Q: How can I check whether this choker will fit?
A: Confirm the necklace’s length, measurement unit and any adjustment range before purchasing, then compare these with a necklace that fits you comfortably. The supplied measurement does not state a unit, and an adjustable fastening is not confirmed, so please contact A Retro Tale for clarification.

Please note that the majority of our items are vintage and therefore have tales to tell unless stated otherwise. Therefore, please look at pictures, descriptions and measurements provided as they give you the best idea of the story this item has to tell.

* Please note that when you buy a vintage product, the dimensions may vary slightly from a new one depending on previous care and storage.

Q: What style is the Chanel Coco Mark Crystal Choker Necklace?
A: This is a gold-coloured choker necklace with crystal detailing and Chanel’s Coco Mark motif. Its choker style is intended to sit close to the neck.

Q: What condition is this necklace in?
A: This pre-owned necklace is in Very Good Condition, with light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny and has light scratches. Please review the product photographs to assess its appearance before purchasing.

Q: Is this necklace made from solid gold or set with diamonds?
A: The product information describes the colour as gold and identifies crystal detailing, but does not specify the metal composition or exact crystal material. Gold colour should not be taken as confirmation of solid gold, and the embellishments are not described as diamonds.

Q: Does the necklace come with a box or other accessories?
A: No accessories are included with this necklace, as stated in the product information. A box, pouch or authenticity card is therefore not included.

Q: How should I clean this necklace?
A: Gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth to preserve its shine. Chanel advises against using water, soap, detergents or chemical cleaning solutions on costume jewellery, as these may damage or discolour the finish.

Q: Can I wear this necklace in the shower or whilst exercising?
A: Remove it before showering, swimming or exercising. Avoid water, excessive heat and knocks, and apply perfume and make-up before putting it on. These precautions help protect the finish and crystal detailing.

Q: How should I store the necklace?
A: Store it separately from other jewellery in a soft pouch to help prevent scratches. Keep it away from humidity and prolonged exposure to sunlight or artificial light. As no accessories are included, you will need to provide your own storage pouch.
