Christian DiorMedium Cannage Lady Dior Bag

Q: What typically fits inside the Christian Dior Medium Cannage Lady Dior Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 24 x 20 x 10 cm in this listing, it is best suited to compact daily essentials such as a phone, small wallet or card holder, keys, sunglasses, lipstick and a few small extras. The medium Lady Dior is structured rather than slouchy, so it feels neater inside than a soft tote and is easiest to use when not overpacked.

Q: Can this bag be carried by hand, on the shoulder or crossbody?
A: Yes. This piece has dual top handles and a detachable shoulder strap. With an approximate strap drop of 43 cm, it works well as a shoulder bag for most wearers and may sit as a shorter crossbody depending on your height, but it is best thought of as a hand-carry or shoulder style first.

Q: Does this bag close securely and have interior organisation?
A: Yes. According to the product information, it has a top zip closure, a dark fabric lining and one internal zip pocket, which makes it practical for keeping smaller essentials secure and organised.

Q: What makes the Lady Dior so recognisable?
A: The Lady Dior is known for its structured silhouette, Cannage quilted leather, rounded top handles and hanging D.I.O.R. charms. This vintage example keeps those hallmark details in metallic gold leather with gold-tone hardware, giving it the classic Lady Dior look with a warmer, dressier finish.

Q: Is the medium Lady Dior a practical everyday size?
A: For many buyers, yes. The medium size is one of the more practical Lady Dior formats because it holds daily essentials while still looking polished. That said, the bag is quite structured, so it is less roomy and less quick to access than a softer day bag, and it can feel heavier if filled with bulkier items.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: This bag is listed in very good condition. The exterior shows light rubbing on the corners, the interior has light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: What is included with this bag?
A: According to the product information, this piece comes with a dust bag, a detachable shoulder strap and an authenticity card. If an item is not listed in the product information, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: Does this bag have a serial number?
A: No serial number is listed in the product information for this piece. With vintage Dior bags, interior stamps and codes can vary by era, so buyers usually consider the overall construction, leather, hardware and provenance rather than relying on one marking alone.

Q: How should I care for vintage metallic leather?
A: Store the bag in its dust bag, lightly stuffed to help maintain the shape, and keep it away from prolonged direct sunlight, moisture and rough surfaces. Use a soft dry cloth for gentle surface wiping, avoid overloading the bag, and take extra care around the corners, as metallic finishes can show wear more readily than darker grained leathers. For deeper cleaning or restoration, it is best to use a specialist luxury bag service.
