A: With approximate measurements of 47 x 27 x 13 cm, this tote offers generous day-to-day space for a wallet, phone, water bottle, make-up pouch, notebook and other daily essentials. It can also work well as a light work or travel bag. Please compare the measurements with items you plan to carry for the best fit.

Q: Will this bag fit a laptop?
A: It may fit many 13-inch laptops and some slim 14-inch models based on the width and height, but laptop sizes vary by brand and sleeve. We recommend comparing your device against the listed measurements before purchasing.

Q: How is this bag carried?
A: This style has dual flat shoulder straps with an approximate handle drop of 27 cm, making it suitable for carrying on the shoulder. It does not come with a detachable long strap.

Q: Does the bag close securely?
A: Yes. This tote features a top zip closure, which helps keep your belongings more secure than an open-top shopper style.

Q: What materials and design details does this bag feature?
A: This vintage Fendi tote is crafted in brown and black Pequin canvas with brown leather trim and a beige textile lining. The Pequin design is Fendi’s signature striped motif and gives the bag a classic, recognisable vintage look.

Q: What is the condition of this bag?
A: The overall condition is good. The exterior shows scuffing on the corners, the lining has stains, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. As with all vintage items, gentle signs of age and wear are to be expected.

Q: What product information is included with this item?
A: No additional product information is included with this bag. If something is not listed on the product page, it should be assumed not to be included.

Q: How should I care for vintage Pequin canvas and leather?
A: Wipe the canvas gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth and avoid soaking the bag. For the leather trim, use a dry or lightly damp soft cloth and keep the bag away from prolonged moisture, heat and direct sunlight. Store it loosely filled in a breathable dust bag to help maintain its shape.

Q: How do you authenticate vintage Fendi bags?
A: At A Retro Tale, each item is checked by specialists using details such as materials, construction, stitching, hardware, branding and overall consistency with the model. Vintage Fendi bags may or may not come with extra documentation, so authenticity is assessed through the bag itself as well as its full product information.
