Q: What size is this Hermès Evelyne 16 TPM bag?
A: According to the product information, this bag measures approximately 17 cm wide, 18 cm high and 5 cm deep. The Evelyne 16 TPM is the compact mini size, best suited to daily essentials rather than larger items.

Q: What typically fits inside the Hermès Evelyne 16 TPM?
A: This size is ideal for essentials such as a phone, card holder, keys, lipstick and a few small personal items. A slim wallet or compact sunglasses may fit depending on shape, but the bag is not designed for bulkier daily carry. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for the exact dimensions of this item.

Q: Can this bag be worn crossbody?
A: Yes. The Evelyne 16 is designed to be worn over the shoulder or across the body. This specific piece includes a detachable canvas shoulder strap, and the listed strap measurement for this item is 51 cm.

Q: Is the strap adjustable?
A: No adjustable setting is stated in the product information for this bag. It comes with a single removable canvas shoulder strap, so we recommend checking the listed strap measurement to judge the fit for your preferred wear.

Q: Is the Hermès Evelyne 16 lined?
A: The Evelyne 16 is known for its lightweight, practical construction and is typically made without a lining. That gives the interior a relaxed feel and helps keep the bag light for everyday shoulder or crossbody use.

Q: What is Taurillon Clemence leather like?
A: Taurillon Clemence is a soft, supple grained Hermès leather with a semi-matt finish. It becomes more supple with wear and is loved for its relaxed character while still feeling durable and luxurious.

Q: Is the perforated H meant to face outwards?
A: Traditionally, no. The Evelyne was originally designed for equestrian use, and the perforated H side was intended to sit against the body so air could circulate around the tools inside. Today, many people wear it either way according to personal preference.

Q: What is included with this bag?
A: This item comes with box, dust bag and a detachable shoulder strap. Everything included with this purchase is listed in the product information.

Q: What does the serial number Z (2021) mean?
A: The Z stamp corresponds to 2021, indicating the production year associated with this piece. As with many Hermès bags, the stamp is one part of the overall identification details used for the bag.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: This pre-owned bag is described as being in very good condition, with light traces of use externally and internally, and shiny hardware with light scratches. In practical terms, you can expect a well-kept piece that has been gently used rather than a pristine, unworn item.

Q: How should I care for Taurillon Clemence leather?
A: Store the bag in a dry place away from direct light and heat, avoid overfilling it, and wipe away any water promptly with a soft lint-free cloth. It is also best to keep ink, oils, perfume and alcohol-based products away from the leather, as these can leave permanent marks.
