Louis VuittonDamier Thames PM Bag

Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton Damier Thames PM Bag?
A: The Thames PM is the smaller size in the Thames family and is best suited to daily essentials rather than bulky items. It will generally fit a phone, small wallet, keys, sunglasses, and a few cosmetics. For the most accurate sense of capacity, please refer to the listed measurements of 33 × 18 × 6 cm.

Q: Is this bag a shoulder bag or a cross-body style?
A: This model is designed as a shoulder bag. The single strap measures approximately 26 cm, so it is not typically considered a cross-body fit.

Q: Does the bag have compartments or pockets?
A: Yes. This bag has a red canvas lining with two internal pockets, which is useful for keeping smaller essentials organised.

Q: Does it close securely?
A: Yes. The bag has a zip closure, which helps keep your belongings secure while maintaining the sleek shape of the Thames PM.

Q: What materials and colours does this bag feature?
A: This piece is made in Damier Ebene canvas with brown leather trim, brass hardware, and a red canvas lining. It has the classic structured Louis Vuitton look with a warm brown palette.

Q: How should I care for Damier Ebene canvas?
A: Coated canvas can usually be wiped gently with a soft damp cloth and a little soapy water if needed. Avoid oils, alcohol-based products, perfume, hand sanitiser, leather lotions, and harsh chemicals, as these can damage the canvas or finish over time.

Q: How is a pre-owned Louis Vuitton bag like this usually authenticated?
A: Authentication should never rely on the code alone. For vintage Louis Vuitton pieces, experts typically assess the canvas, stitching, hardware, stamps, construction details, and production code together to form an overall authenticity judgement.
