Q: What typically fits inside this Louis Vuitton Epi Jasmine Bag?
A: This is a compact structured handbag measuring approximately 32 x 18 x 9 cm. It is best suited to daily essentials such as a phone, purse, keys, sunglasses, a small cosmetics pouch and similar items. It is not designed for a laptop or larger bulky items.

Q: Can this bag be worn on the shoulder?
A: No. This Jasmine bag is designed to be carried by hand or in the crook of the arm with its dual top handles. The handle drop is approximately 11 cm, and there is no shoulder strap included with this item.

Q: What is Epi leather, and is it durable?
A: Epi leather is Louis Vuitton's signature textured leather, known for its structured feel and good resistance to everyday wear. It is generally more scratch-resistant than smooth leather, which makes it a popular choice for regular use, although it can still show signs of age and handling over time.

Q: What are the interior details of this bag?
A: This bag features a zip closure and a red alcantara lining with one internal pocket. The structured silhouette helps it keep its shape well while still offering space for everyday essentials.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: The overall condition is rated Very Good. There are light traces of use to the exterior, the interior is also in Very Good condition with a light vintage smell, and the hardware remains shiny with light surface scratches.

Q: What is included with the bag?
A: This item comes with a dust bag. Please refer to the product information for everything included with this specific piece.

Q: What does the date code TH1016 mean?
A: The date code TH1016 follows Louis Vuitton's older date code format and indicates production in France in 2006. As with all Louis Vuitton pieces, the date code is one helpful detail, but authentication should always consider the bag as a whole.

Q: Is this bag authenticated?
A: Yes. At A Retro Tale, all items are carefully inspected for authenticity by specialists who review key details such as materials, construction, hardware, stamps and production markings before sale.

Q: How should I care for vintage Epi leather?
A: To care for vintage Epi leather, wipe it gently with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth, avoid harsh cleaning products, and keep it away from prolonged heat, moisture and direct sunlight. When not in use, store it in a breathable dust bag and lightly stuff it to help maintain its shape.
