Q: What typically fits inside this Louis Vuitton Epi Pochette Accessoires Bag?
A: This is a compact bag designed for daily essentials. With approximate measurements of 21.5 x 12 x 3 cm, it will generally fit a phone, cardholder, keys, lipstick and a few small personal items. Bulkier items such as a large wallet, water bottle or sunglasses case may be a tight fit, so please refer to the Measurements on this page for exact dimensions.

Q: Can this bag be worn on the shoulder or only carried as a clutch?
A: This style is designed to be worn neatly under the arm or carried by hand as a clutch. The strap drop for this piece is approximately 15 cm, giving it the classic Pochette Accessoires look.

Q: Is Epi leather durable for everyday use?
A: Yes. Epi leather is one of Louis Vuitton’s most durable signature materials and is known for its textured, structured finish. It tends to be more resistant to scratches and everyday wear than many smoother leathers, which is one reason the Pochette Accessoires remains such a practical vintage choice.

Q: How should I care for vintage Epi leather?
A: Gently wipe the exterior with a soft, light-coloured cloth and keep the bag away from excessive moisture, direct heat and prolonged sunlight. Avoid harsh cleaners, solvents, perfume, hand cream and similar products on the leather. When not in use, store it in a breathable dust bag and lightly stuff it to help maintain its shape.

Q: What accessories are included with this bag?
A: This item comes with no accessories. Everything included is listed in the product information, so if an item such as a box, dust bag or authenticity card is not listed there, it is not included with this piece.

Q: What does the serial number AR1928 indicate?
A: Louis Vuitton date code formats from this era use letters for the production country and numbers for the production date. AR indicates France, and this code format is consistent with production in December 1998. As with all vintage Louis Vuitton items, a date code is helpful but should not be relied upon as the sole proof of authenticity.

Q: What is the condition of this specific bag?
A: This bag is listed in very good condition with light traces of use. The exterior and interior are both noted as very good, and the hardware is described as shiny with light scratches. We recommend reviewing all photos closely for the best understanding of this item’s vintage condition.

Q: Is the Pochette Accessoires considered a versatile bag?
A: Yes. The Pochette Accessoires is one of Louis Vuitton’s most versatile compact styles because it works well as a small shoulder bag for day or evening use and can also be carried as a clutch. Its slim silhouette makes it especially easy to dress up or use for essentials on the go.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: According to the product information, this bag was made in France.
