Louis VuittonMurakami Speedy 30 Bag

Q: What makes the Louis Vuitton Murakami Speedy 30 distinctive?
A: This version combines the classic Speedy shape with the colourful Monogram design associated with Louis Vuitton’s collaboration with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. Its multicoloured exterior and vachetta leather detailing distinguish it from the traditional Monogram Speedy.

Q: What are the measurements of this bag?
A: This specific bag measures approximately 31 cm wide, 25 cm high and 17 cm deep, with a handle measurement of 11 cm. Please use these item-specific measurements rather than assuming that the model name gives its exact dimensions.

Q: What can I fit inside the Speedy 30?
A: It should comfortably accommodate everyday essentials such as a phone, purse, keys, a small cosmetics pouch and sunglasses. Actual capacity depends on the size of your belongings and how you pack them. Laptop compatibility has not been confirmed for this item.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder or crossbody?
A: This is a top-handle Speedy rather than a Bandoulière model, so it is intended primarily for handheld or crook-of-the-arm carrying. No shoulder strap is listed in the product information; do not assume one is included.

Q: What condition is this particular bag in?
A: It is graded Very Good Condition. The exterior vachetta leather shows patina, watermarks and light signs of wear. The interior is also in very good condition with light traces of use, while the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: Is the patina on the vachetta leather normal?
A: Yes. Vachetta is natural cowhide leather that gradually darkens and develops a distinctive patina with age and use. This item already has patina, watermarks and light wear, as noted in its condition description; it should not be expected to have the appearance of new leather.

Q: How should I care for the bag and its vachetta leather?
A: Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, heat and moisture, and keep perfume, hand sanitiser, oils and harsh cleaning products away from the bag. If the vachetta gets wet, blot it gently with a clean, light-coloured, lint-free absorbent cloth. Do not scrub the leather or attempt to remove its watermarks with solvents, saddle soap or leather lotions. For stain treatment, seek advice from Louis Vuitton or a specialist in vintage luxury bags.

Q: Where was this bag made, and what identification code is listed?
A: The product information lists France as the country of origin and SP0047 as the identification code. A code alone is not sufficient to establish a bag’s authenticity.

Q: Does this bag come with a dust bag, box, padlock or keys?
A: No accompanying accessories are specified in the product information. Please contact A Retro Tale to confirm what comes with this particular item rather than assuming that a dust bag, box, padlock or keys are included.
