Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton Vernis Reade PM Bag?
A: The Reade PM is a compact tote that is best suited to daily essentials such as a mobile phone, small wallet, keys, sunglasses, a compact and a slim pouch. With approximate measurements of 24 x 19 x 10 cm, it is not designed for larger items such as a laptop or A4 documents.

Q: Is the Reade PM a shoulder bag?
A: This model is generally best carried by hand or in the crook of the arm. It has dual flat handles with an approximate 10 cm drop, so the fit on the shoulder is usually quite snug, especially over thicker clothing.

Q: Does this bag have a closure or inside pocket?
A: Yes. This bag has an open top for easy access and a grey fabric lining with one internal zip pocket for smaller essentials you may want to keep separate.

Q: What is Louis Vuitton Vernis leather?
A: Vernis is a glossy patent-style leather embossed with the Louis Vuitton Monogram. It is known for its shiny finish and structured look, which gives the Reade PM its distinctive polished appearance.

Q: Is Vernis leather durable, and what should I watch for on a light-coloured bag?
A: Vernis is generally resistant to everyday surface scratching, but lighter shades can be more prone to colour transfer, fading and yellowing over time. It is best to keep the bag away from dark denim, magazines, other leathers and prolonged direct sunlight.

Q: How should I care for and store this bag?
A: Wipe the Vernis surface gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth and avoid solvents, leather oils or harsh cleaning products. Store the bag lightly stuffed in a ventilated area, away from heat and direct sunlight, so it can better keep its shape and finish.

Q: What does the date code TH1097 mean?
A: Louis Vuitton date codes indicate when and where a bag was made rather than serving as a unique serial number. For this piece, TH1097 is consistent with production in France in 2007, which aligns with the made in France product information on this listing.

Q: What does the product information list for inclusions and condition?
A: The product information for this item lists a box. Condition is noted as very good overall, with light trace of use to both the exterior and interior, while the hardware is described as shiny with light scratches.
