Q: What is Bottega Veneta Intrecciomirage?
A: Intrecciomirage is an embossed interpretation of Bottega Veneta’s signature Intrecciato look, giving the leather a woven-effect appearance without a fully woven construction. On this piece, it is finished in metallic gold leather for a distinctive vintage look.

Q: What typically fits inside this bag?
A: With measurements of 19 x 12 x 5 cm, this is a compact flap bag best suited to daily essentials such as a phone, card holder, keys, lipstick and a few small items. It is not ideal for bulkier wallets, large sunglasses cases or other oversized essentials.

Q: How does the strap length wear?
A: The single chain strap is listed at 63 cm. This gives the bag an easy hands-free carry, and on many frames it will sit best as a shoulder bag. The exact fit can vary depending on your height and how the measurement was taken, so we recommend comparing it with a bag you already own if you are unsure.

Q: What is included with this bag?
A: This item comes with a dust bag. Everything included with the purchase is listed under the product information; if something is not listed there, it is not included.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: The overall condition is Very Good. The exterior shows light traces of use with a few scuff marks, the interior shows light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: Does the absence of a serial number mean the bag is not authentic?
A: Not necessarily. Bottega Veneta has used different internal tag and serial formats over the years, and older pieces can vary. Authenticity should always be assessed holistically by looking at the leather, construction, hardware, stamps and overall craftsmanship. This bag has been authenticated by our experts.

Q: How should I care for metallic leather?
A: Metallic leather benefits from gentle handling. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth, avoid rough surfaces and prolonged exposure to rain, heat or direct sunlight, and store it in its dust bag when not in use. Keeping it lightly stuffed can also help preserve its shape.

Q: Can scuffs or wear on metallic leather be fully repaired?
A: Minor marks may sometimes be improved by a skilled leather specialist, but metallic finishes can show wear more readily than plain leather and colour matching is often difficult. For anything beyond very light surface care, professional restoration is the safest route.

Q: Can Bottega Veneta help with repairs or aftercare?
A: Bottega Veneta states that it can advise on care and repair queries, and that repairs are carried out by expert artisans. For vintage items, repair options can vary depending on age, materials and condition, so it is best to enquire directly if you are considering restoration.
