Bottega VenetaIntrecciato Gold Shoulder Bag

Q: What typically fits inside this Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Gold Shoulder Bag?
A: With measurements of approximately 27 × 18 × 5 cm, it is best suited to daily essentials such as a phone, cardholder or small wallet, keys, lipstick, sunglasses and a few compact extras. It is a slim shoulder style, so larger items such as a tablet or bulky pouch are unlikely to fit comfortably. Capacity can vary slightly depending on how you pack.

Q: Can it be worn comfortably on the shoulder?
A: Yes. The shoulder strap measures approximately 32 cm, giving it a comfortable shoulder drop for most wearers. As with all vintage bags, the fit can vary slightly depending on frame and styling preference.

Q: What pockets and compartments does it have?
A: According to the product information, the bag has a tonal lining with one internal zip pocket, an exterior zip pocket and a flap closure with tassel detail. This layout is useful for keeping smaller essentials organised.

Q: What is the condition of this vintage bag?
A: The overall condition is listed as good. There is rubbing on the corners, peeling on the interior and light scratches on the hardware. These are typical signs of age and use, so it is worth reviewing the product images closely before purchase.

Q: What makes Intrecciato special?
A: Intrecciato is Bottega Veneta’s signature woven leather technique and one of the house’s most recognisable design codes. It is especially valued for its artisanal look, soft feel and understated finish without prominent logos.

Q: Does a vintage Bottega Veneta bag always have a serial number?
A: Not always. Older Bottega Veneta pieces can differ from newer production, and some vintage bags do not show the same serial-style labelling seen on later models. For that reason, authenticity is best judged by the overall construction, weave, materials and brand details rather than one feature alone.

Q: How should I care for gold Intrecciato leather?
A: Metallic and woven leather should be handled gently. Store the bag in its dust bag, keep it away from prolonged sunlight, moisture and rough surfaces, and avoid overfilling so the woven leather keeps its shape. For light surface marks, use a soft dry or barely damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaners or sprays unless advised by a leather specialist.

Q: What is included with this bag?
A: The included items listed in the product information are a dust bag and mirror. If you would like to confirm anything further before purchase, it is best to check directly with the retailer.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: The country of origin label states Italy.
