Q: What defines the Breitling Superocean II 44mm in this listing?
A: This is a 44mm stainless-steel diver’s watch with a blue dial, blue unidirectional bezel and an automatic chronometer movement. It comes on a stainless-steel mesh bracelet with a folding clasp. The piece is circa 2015, Breitling reference AB2030, and is offered as a full set with box and papers.

Q: Is it automatic and does it have a quickset date?
A: Yes. The watch is self-winding (automatic) and features a quickset date. Unscrew the crown anti-clockwise: position 1 is for manual winding, position 2 adjusts the date, and position 3 sets the time. Always screw the crown back down firmly after use.

Q: Can I swim or dive with this watch?
A: While the Superocean line is engineered for serious water use, water resistance on any pre-owned watch cannot be guaranteed without a current pressure test. We recommend treating it as splash-resistant only unless you have it pressure-tested and the seals checked/replaced. Never operate the crown or pushers under water.

Q: What crystal does it use and how durable is it?
A: The watch is fitted with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal for excellent clarity and durability in daily wear.

Q: What is included with the purchase?
A: This example is sold as a full set: original box, certificate/papers, and 2 extra bracelet links, together with A Retro Tale’s authentication and secure, insured shipping.

Q: Will it fit my wrist?
A: The bracelet is currently sized to fit a wrist up to 20.5 cm, including the two extra links supplied. It can be sized down by removing links. If you need guidance on sizing, contact us with your wrist measurement.

Q: What is the condition of this particular watch?
A: It is rated Excellent overall, showing only light traces of use. The hardware is shiny with minor surface scratches consistent with careful wear. Please review the photos for a close look at the finish.

Q: Is the watch authentic and is there a warranty?
A: Yes. A Retro Tale guarantees 100% authenticity. The watch is covered by our 12‑month warranty on the movement’s mechanical function and is eligible for our 14‑day return policy for peace of mind.

Q: How often should I service it?
A: As a guideline, mechanical divers are typically serviced every 5–7 years. If you plan to use it in water, have the gaskets and water resistance tested annually. Any noticeable timekeeping deviation is a sign to book an inspection sooner.

Q: Are the serial and reference numbers present?
A: Yes. The reference is AB2030 and the serial number 5282321 is present (it may be partially masked in photos for security). These details correspond with the accompanying paperwork.
