ChanelCC Full Flap Bag

Q: What fits inside this Chanel CC Full Flap Bag?
A: With measurements of approximately 20 x 14.5 x 6 cm, this small flap bag is best suited to daily essentials such as a phone, card holder, keys, lipstick, and other compact items. It is ideal for light everyday use or evenings out, but it is unlikely to fit bulkier items or a large continental wallet comfortably.

Q: Can this bag be worn crossbody?
A: The strap measures approximately 52 cm, so it is primarily a shoulder bag. Depending on your height and preferred fit, it may also work as a shorter crossbody, but it will generally sit best on the shoulder.

Q: What are the exact measurements of this bag?
A: The bag measures approximately 20 cm in width, 14.5 cm in height, and 6 cm in depth. The shoulder strap measures approximately 52 cm.

Q: What is the condition of this vintage bag?
A: This item is in very good vintage condition overall. The exterior shows scuffing at the corners and scratches on the leather, the interior shows light traces of use with a slight vintage smell, and the hardware has scratches and tarnishing. These signs are consistent with age and careful prior use.

Q: How is the interior organised?
A: The interior is lined in black leather and includes one internal pocket for smaller essentials. The bag closes with a magnetic snap closure for quick access.

Q: Does this bag include an authenticity card, box, or dust bag?
A: No. This item is listed with no accompanying product information, so no authenticity card, box, dust bag, or other extras are included unless explicitly stated elsewhere on the product page.

Q: What does the serial number 0752592 tell me?
A: This 7-digit serial number format is consistent with early vintage Chanel production and generally points to the late 1980s production period. As with all vintage Chanel pieces, the serial number should be considered alongside craftsmanship and expert authentication rather than on its own.

Q: How should I care for this vintage Chanel leather bag?
A: Store it upright, lightly stuffed, and away from direct sunlight, heat, and humidity. Use a soft cloth for gentle surface cleaning and avoid overfilling the bag, which can affect its shape. Because this is a vintage leather piece, it is best to avoid harsh cleaning products and to handle the corners and hardware with care.

Q: How do you authenticate this Chanel bag?
A: At A Retro Tale, all items are reviewed for authenticity by specialists who assess details such as materials, construction, stitching, hardware, stamps, and serial details. For vintage Chanel, authenticity is never judged by one feature alone, but by the item as a whole.
