Q: What are the dimensions of this Chanel Jumbo Shiva Flap Bag?
A: It measures 31 cm wide, 20 cm high and 6 cm deep. The recorded handle measurement is 26 cm; a separate strap length is not provided.

Q: What can I fit inside?
A: Its jumbo size should accommodate everyday essentials such as a phone, wallet, keys and a small cosmetics pouch. The 6 cm depth and the shape of your belongings will affect what fits, so check the measurements before purchasing. Laptop fit has not been confirmed.

Q: Can I wear it crossbody?
A: Shiva flap bags are often styled with a longer chain, but the strap length for this individual bag is not recorded. Crossbody fit depends on your height and preferred position; please enquire if you need a specific drop measurement.

Q: How does the Shiva differ from a Classic Flap?
A: The Shiva is a distinct Chanel flap style rather than a Classic Flap. If you are comparing the two, use this bag’s measurements and photographs rather than assuming their construction or carrying lengths are the same.

Q: What is caviar leather?
A: Caviar is Chanel’s textured, grained leather. Its surface can be practical for regular use, but it can still develop marks and should be treated with care.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: It is listed in Very Good condition. The exterior and interior show light traces of use, while the hardware is shiny with light scratches.

Q: What accessories are included?
A: A serial number tag is listed in the product information. An authenticity card, box and dust bag are not listed, so please do not assume they are included.

Q: Is a serial number available?
A: The product information lists a serial number tag, but does not provide a serial number. Please contact A Retro Tale if you need further details about this particular bag.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: Its country-of-origin label states France.

Q: How should I care for and store it?
A: Wipe it gently with a soft cloth and avoid harsh care products, prolonged sunlight and moisture. Do not overfill it. When storing the bag, keep it upright and protect the leather from contact with its hardware or chain.
