Q: What waist size does Dior size 75 fit?
A: Belt sizes are measured from the buckle fold to the centre hole. A size 75 equals about 75 cm (approximately 29.5 in) to the centre hole. With the usual five holes spaced around 2.5 cm apart, this belt typically fits roughly 70–80 cm (about 27.5–31.5 in), depending on where you wear it (natural waist vs hips). For best results, measure an existing belt from the buckle fold to the hole you use most and compare.

Q: What is the belt width and will it fit my belt loops?
A: The strap is approximately 4 cm wide (about 40 mm/1.57 in). This width generally suits denim and casual trousers and may be too wide for some tailored trousers with narrow loops. Measure your loops if unsure.

Q: Is this belt reversible?
A: No. This is a single-sided black leather belt with round studs and a CD logo buckle; it is not reversible.

Q: How does the buckle fasten?
A: The belt features a CD logo buckle and a snap button closure for easy fastening. Fasten the snap, then secure the prong through your chosen hole.

Q: How should I care for the leather and silver-tone hardware?
A: Wipe the strap with a soft, slightly damp cloth, then dry immediately. Condition the leather sparingly with a neutral leather conditioner, avoiding the studs and buckle. Keep perfumes, oils and moisture away from the hardware; buff it gently with a dry, non-abrasive cloth. Store the belt flat or loosely rolled in a cool, dry place, and place soft tissue between layers so the studs don’t imprint on the leather.

Q: Can extra holes be added or the belt shortened?
A: Additional holes can usually be added by a professional cobbler using the correct tools and spacing. Shortening may be possible from the buckle end depending on construction. Any modification should be done by a professional and may affect future resale value.

Q: Is this an authentic Dior belt?
A: Yes. Every item at A Retro Tale undergoes a multi‑point authentication by our in‑house experts, checking materials, stitching, stamps and hardware details. Typical Dior belt markers include clean heat‑stamping on the reverse, high‑quality leather, and precise finishing on the CD buckle. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell.
