Christian DiorDiorissimo Tote Bag

Q: What are the measurements and what typically fits inside this Diorissimo Tote?
A: This piece measures approximately 32 × 21 × 12 cm with a 12 cm handle drop and an adjustable strap up to about 45 cm. It comfortably holds a long wallet, phone, keys, a small cosmetics pouch, compact umbrella, and a tablet up to around 11 inches. A4 papers may fit horizontally, though the opening and interior structure can make thicker folders or a 13-inch laptop a tight fit—please compare your device to the Measurements on this page.

Q: Is the Diorissimo still in production?
A: The Diorissimo line was introduced in the early 2010s and is now discontinued, which is why it is typically found on the pre-loved market. This enhances its collectability among Dior enthusiasts.

Q: What closure and interior details does this model have?
A: This Diorissimo features a magnetic snap closure, gold-tone DIOR letter charms, a pink leather lining and a removable pouch. The design is known for its softly structured silhouette and contrast-colour interior.

Q: How can this bag be carried?
A: It is designed for hand or arm carry via the dual rolled handles, and it includes a detachable, adjustable shoulder strap. With an approximate 45 cm maximum drop, it wears comfortably on the shoulder and as a high crossbody for some builds; adjust the strap to suit your height and preference.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: Everything included is listed under the product information on this page. For this piece, that includes a pouch and a detachable shoulder strap. If an item (such as a dust bag or card) is not listed in the product information, it is not included.

Q: Where is the date code and how do I read it for Dior bags?
A: Dior date codes are typically found on the reverse of the leather brand tag inside the bag. Modern formats often appear as two numbers, two letters, and four numbers (the last four usually indicate month and year). The letters reference the atelier. Location and formatting may vary by production period.

Q: How does the Diorissimo compare to the Lady Dior?
A: The Diorissimo is generally softer and more relaxed with a wider opening and minimal exterior quilting, whereas the Lady Dior is more structured with the signature Cannage quilting and a boxier profile. Both feature DIOR letter charms but have distinct silhouettes and carrying experiences.

Q: How should I care for the grained calfskin and hardware?
A: Wipe the exterior with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid harsh cleaners, oils, and prolonged exposure to moisture, heat or direct sunlight. Store loosely stuffed in a breathable dust bag to maintain shape, and be mindful that metal charms can contact the leather—position them to minimise surface rub. For deeper conditioning, use a neutral leather care product sparingly or consult a professional.

Q: Why do some Diorissimo sizes seem to have different names across sources?
A: Dior adjusted Diorissimo size naming around 2013 (for example, what was called Medium became Large in some references). Because naming conventions changed, the most reliable guide is the actual measurements shown on this page when deciding what will fit your needs.

Q: What condition notes should I be aware of for this specific piece?
A: Overall very good with light signs of use. The lining shows a small light stain, there is a small piece of plastic protruding from a top seam, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. Please review the photos and description for full details.
