Q: What size is this bag?
A: This is the Small Chanel Diana Bag. The listed measurements are approximately 22.5 x 14 x 6 cm, so it is a compact vintage shoulder bag suited to essentials rather than bulky daily items.

Q: What typically fits inside the Chanel Small Diana Bag?
A: In this size, you can usually carry a phone, cardholder or small wallet, keys, lipstick, and a few slim personal items. It is not ideal for larger items such as a long continental wallet, tablet, or water bottle.

Q: Can this bag be worn on the shoulder or crossbody?
A: The leather-and-chain strap is designed for elegant shoulder wear. With the listed strap measurement of approximately 42 cm, it may also work as a shorter crossbody on some frames, but fit will vary depending on height and styling preference.

Q: What material is this bag made from?
A: This piece is crafted from black quilted patent leather with gold-tone hardware and a black leather lining. Patent leather has a glossy finish and can show surface marks more readily than more matte leathers.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: The bag is listed in good vintage condition. The exterior shows visible scratches and marks on the patent leather, the interior has light traces of use, and the hardware shows scratches and tarnishing. As with any vintage item, careful review of the images and condition notes is recommended.

Q: Does the bag have any odour?
A: Yes. The internal condition notes state that the bag smells. If sensitivity to odour is a concern, this is worth taking into account before purchasing.

Q: Is this bag authenticated, and what does the serial number mean?
A: The product information lists serial number 3423629 and includes an authenticity card and booklet. Chanel serial numbers beginning with 3 are generally associated with mid-1990s production, which is consistent with a vintage Diana bag.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: According to the product information, this bag comes with the serial number, authenticity card, and booklet. If any additional item is not listed in the product information, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: How should I care for vintage patent leather?
A: Patent leather should be handled gently and wiped with a soft dry cloth after use. Avoid overfilling, prolonged sunlight, humidity, rough surfaces, and contact with dark or colour-transfer-prone fabrics. For storage, keep the bag upright, lightly stuffed, and protect the chain so it does not press into the leather.
