Q: What fits inside this bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 26 x 16 x 8 cm, this bag is best suited to daily essentials such as a phone, card holder or small wallet, keys, sunglasses and a few small beauty items. It is a compact shoulder bag rather than a large day bag, so larger items like a tablet, laptop or bottle will not fit comfortably.

Q: Can this bag be worn on the shoulder?
A: Yes. This style has a single flat shoulder strap measuring 57 cm, so it is designed primarily for shoulder carry. It is best suited to being worn close to the body rather than as a roomy crossbody style.

Q: What materials and colours does this bag feature?
A: This bag is crafted in beige Trotter canvas with brown leather trim, finished with silver-tone hardware and a pink fabric lining. It is made in Italy.

Q: How does the bag close?
A: It has a top zip closure, which helps keep your essentials secure while maintaining the slim, easy-to-carry silhouette of the bag.

Q: What should I know about the condition before buying?
A: The overall condition is listed as Very Good. The exterior shows scuffing on the leather trim and a stain on the strap. Inside, there are light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. As with any vintage piece, minor signs of age and wear are part of its character.

Q: What makes Dior Trotter bags so popular?
A: Dior Trotter bags are especially loved for their instantly recognisable monogram canvas and strong early-2000s vintage appeal. They are a popular choice for collectors and everyday vintage Dior lovers alike because they combine a distinctive designer look with a lighter feel than many full-leather bags.

Q: Is this a practical everyday bag?
A: Yes, if you prefer carrying just the essentials. Its compact shape and zip-top design make it a practical choice for day-to-day use, lunches, city outings or evening wear. If you usually carry larger items, you may prefer a bigger style.

Q: How should I care for a vintage Dior canvas bag like this?
A: Handle it gently and avoid overfilling it, as this helps protect the canvas, leather trim and overall shape. Wipe the canvas lightly with a soft dry cloth, keep it away from heavy rain and prolonged direct sunlight, and store it in a cool dry place when not in use. Extra care is recommended around the strap because a stain is already noted in the condition details.

Q: Does anything else come with the bag?
A: This item is listed as having no additional items included. If you would like to double-check what is included, please review the product information for this listing before purchase.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: All items at A Retro Tale are carefully reviewed for details such as materials, construction, hardware, branding and overall consistency before being listed for sale. If you would like more product information before purchasing, the team can assist further.
