Q: What typically fits inside the Fendi Medium Peekaboo?
A: With approximate measurements of 34 × 24 × 12 cm, it comfortably holds a long wallet, large smartphone, sunglasses case, keys, a small cosmetics pouch, compact umbrella and a slim notebook. A full-size 13-inch laptop generally will not fit; slim tablets up to around 11 inches may fit depending on the case and how you pack. The two main compartments and internal zip pocket help to organise daily essentials.

Q: Can I wear this Medium Peekaboo crossbody?
A: Yes. It comes with a detachable, adjustable shoulder strap (approx. 54 cm drop) that allows for shoulder or crossbody wear on most heights. The top handle drop is approx. 12 cm for hand or crook-of-arm carry.

Q: How secure is the closure system?
A: The Peekaboo uses turn-lock closures on both sides. You can fasten both for a secure, polished look, or leave one side slightly open to showcase the interior—true to the “peekaboo” concept.

Q: What are the main differences between Peekaboo Iconic/Regular, ISeeU, X-Lite and Selleria versions?
A: Iconic/Regular keeps the classic two-compartment structure with a central partition. ISeeU highlights the interior more visibly and often includes a removable inner pocket. X-Lite is a lighter, more flexible take with a simplified interior. Selleria versions feature artisan hand-stitching and robust Cuoio Romano leather. This item is the classic Medium format in grained leather.

Q: Does the Medium Peekaboo have metal feet on the base?
A: Many Peekaboo models do feature four protective base studs, but this varies by season and specific version. Please refer to the photos and the product information on this page for this exact piece.

Q: How should I care for the grained leather?
A: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after use; avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, heat and rain; store lightly stuffed in its dust bag to help maintain shape; keep away from oils, solvents and harsh cleaners. If it gets lightly wet, use the included rain cover when possible and allow it to air-dry naturally. For deeper care, consult a professional leather specialist.

Q: What is included with this purchase?
A: As listed under product information: dust bag, raincoat, brand booklets and the detachable shoulder strap. If an item is not listed there, it is not included.

Q: Are there any signs of wear I should note?
A: Yes. External condition: good, with visible scuff marks and minor corner cracks. Internal condition: good, with a few surface scratches to the leather. Hardware shows scratches and some dullness. Please review the images for details.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Each item at A Retro Tale is carefully examined by in-house experts using multi-point checks of materials, stitching, hardware, stamps and era-appropriate codes. We stand behind the authenticity of every piece we sell and can provide additional photos or details on request.
