GoyardArtois MM Tote Bag

Q: What is the difference between the Goyard Artois MM and the Saint Louis tote?
A: The Artois MM is generally chosen by buyers who want a more structured, secure version of the classic Goyard tote. It features reinforced leather corners and a top zip closure, giving it a more organised and practical feel for commuting or travel.

Q: What typically fits inside the Artois MM?
A: With approximate measurements of 49 x 30 x 15 cm, this tote is roomy enough for everyday essentials such as a long wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses case, water bottle, cosmetic pouch, and a notebook or tablet. Many buyers also use the MM for work or travel, but laptop fit will depend on your device and sleeve, so please compare it with the Measurements on this page.

Q: Does this bag close fully?
A: Yes. This Artois MM has a top zip closure, which is one of the main reasons shoppers choose it over more open tote styles.

Q: Can this bag be worn comfortably on the shoulder?
A: Yes. It has dual flat shoulder straps and an approximate strap drop of 26 cm, which usually allows comfortable shoulder carry with everyday clothing. Fit can vary slightly depending on your build and outerwear.

Q: Is the Artois MM a good work or travel bag?
A: For many people, yes. The structured shape, reinforced corners, and zip top make it especially appealing for commuting, day trips, and travel when you want your belongings to feel more secure than in an open tote. Always check airline or workplace requirements if you plan to carry larger devices or use it as cabin baggage.

Q: What materials and details does this specific bag have?
A: This piece is crafted in grey Goyardine canvas with grey leather trim, silver-tone hardware, and a cream canvas lining. It also has the Artois model’s signature structured silhouette and zip-top design.

Q: What is the condition of this specific item?
A: According to the product information, the overall condition is excellent. There is light scuffing on the leather trim, light traces of use inside, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: What is included with this bag?
A: This item comes with a dust bag. Everything included with the purchase is listed in the product information on this page.

Q: How should I care for a vintage Goyard tote like this?
A: Wipe the coated canvas gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth, and avoid harsh cleaners, oils, or soaking the leather trim. Do not overload the bag, and store it in its dust bag in a cool, dry place to help maintain its shape and finish.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is carefully checked by experts before sale. We assess key details such as materials, construction, hardware, stamps, and overall craftsmanship so you can shop with confidence.
