GucciGG Marmont Belt, Size 75

Q: What defines the Gucci GG Marmont Belt?
A: This belt is an iconic accessory from Gucci, characterised by the Double G buckle—an archival design from the 1970s. This specific model features smooth black leather paired with gold-toned hardware, offering a timeless aesthetic.

Q: How wide is this belt?
A: This is the thin version of the GG Marmont belt, with a width of 20 mm (2 cm). Its slender profile is perfect for wearing at the waist over dresses, blazers, or with trousers that have smaller belt loops.

Q: What does size 75 mean regarding fit?
A: Gucci belt sizing typically refers to the distance in centimetres from the buckle to the centre hole. Size 75 is approximately 75 cm and generally suits a waist or high-hip measurement between 70 cm and 80 cm. We recommend measuring your waist or a belt you currently own to confirm the best size for you.

Q: Is it possible to add extra holes?
A: While the belt comes with pre-punched holes, additional ones can be added if necessary. We strongly advise having this done by a professional leather specialist to ensure the holes are clean and evenly spaced, preserving the belt's integrity.

Q: What is the condition of this pre-owned piece?
A: This item is described as being in "Good" condition with a "light trace of use." As a second-hand luxury item, it may show minor signs of wear on the leather or hardware. Please consult the detailed photos and condition report for a full overview.

Q: Does this belt come with the original packaging?
A: No, this specific listing is for the belt only and is noted as having "no accessories," meaning the original box and dust bag are not included.

Q: How should I care for the leather and buckle?
A: To maintain its condition, wipe the black leather gently with a soft, dry cloth and avoid exposure to moisture or direct heat. The gold-toned buckle can be polished carefully with a microfibre cloth to remove fingerprints. Store the belt loosely rolled or hanging to avoid creasing.

Q: Is this belt reversible?
A: No, this model is a single-sided belt crafted from black leather and is not designed to be reversible.

Q: Where is this belt made?
A: This authentic Gucci belt is made in Italy, reflecting the brand's long-standing tradition of quality leather craftsmanship.

Q: How is authenticity verified?
A: Authentic Gucci belts feature a serial number stamped on the interior leather, alongside the branding. A Retro Tale conducts a rigorous authentication process checking materials, hardware, and stamps to ensure every item we sell is genuine.
