Please note that the majority of our items are vintage and therefore have tales to tell unless stated otherwise. Therefore, please look at pictures, descriptions and measurements provided as they give you the best idea of the story this item has to tell.

* Please note that when you buy a vintage product, the dimensions may vary slightly from a new one depending on previous care and storage.

SHIPPING

All orders are insured and trackable. Once your shipment has been issued, a link to our Track & Trace service will be provided where you can track your shipment and check delivery status online.

We ship all orders from Sweden, and when importing to Canada your order may be subject to import duties and sales tax, which will be charged to you upon delivery by the shipping carrier.

These charges are typically collected by the shipping carrier at the time of delivery and are not included in the product price.

RETURNS

A Retro Tale offers 14 days return policy upon receipt of your order.

In order to request a return, please email [email protected] with your order number and state ”return request” in your email. From there, our Customer Support will confirm that your return request has been approved and further instructions will be provided by email.

Please note that all return shipments to A Retro Tale must be traceable. Retain your shipping receipt and tracking number until the return is completed and your refund is processed. Return shipping costs will be covered by A Retro Tale, and we will provide you with a prepaid return label.

Please allow up to 10 business days for your return to be completed from the return shipping date as shipping time might vary depending on shipping country and shipping provider.

Q: What are the measurements of this Hermès Edito 42 Business Bag?
A: The listed measurements are approximately 50 cm wide, 31 cm high and 1 cm deep. The handle measurement is 21 cm. Use these item-specific measurements rather than the model name when assessing its size.

Q: Will this bag fit a laptop?
A: Laptop compatibility has not been confirmed for this particular bag. Its external measurements do not guarantee usable internal space, especially with a listed depth of just 1 cm. Please contact us to confirm the internal dimensions and opening size against your laptop and sleeve before purchasing.

Q: Is this bag suitable for carrying work documents?
A: Its listed width and height suggest that it could accommodate flat documents, but the internal dimensions have not been provided. The slim profile is better suited to flat contents than bulky folders or a large load of work essentials. Please confirm the usable space if you need to carry a particular document folder.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: This pre-owned bag is rated Very Good Condition. Both the exterior and interior show light traces of use, while the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. Please review the product photographs for the appearance of these signs of wear.

Q: Does this bag come with a shoulder strap?
A: No shoulder strap is included in the product information. The listed handle measurement is 21 cm, but shoulder-carry suitability has not been confirmed.

Q: What accessories are included?
A: The product information states that no accessories are included. A dust bag, box or other additional items are therefore not included with this purchase.

Q: What does the Square N stamp mean?
A: The recorded Square N date stamp identifies this bag as dating from 2010. A date stamp indicates the production year; it is not, on its own, proof of authenticity.

Q: What colour is this bag, and where was it made?
A: This bag is listed as camel, and its country of origin is France.

Q: How should I care for this pre-owned Hermès bag?
A: Avoid overfilling it and protect it from moisture, direct sunlight and heat. Store it without pressure on the handles or body. As the exact material is not specified in the product information, avoid applying cleaning products or conditioners without material-specific advice. For stains or repairs, seek guidance from Hermès after-sales service.
