Q: What can the Neo Triangle Vernis typically hold?
A: With approximate measurements of 30 × 16 × 11 cm, it comfortably carries daily essentials such as a smartphone, compact wallet, keys, sunglasses, and small cosmetics. It does not fit A4 documents or a laptop; packing capacity depends on how you organise items.

Q: Can it be worn on the shoulder or crossbody?
A: Yes, it has dual top handles and a detachable shoulder strap for shoulder wear. Many examples of this style have a strap drop around 50–52 cm, which may allow a short crossbody on some frames. Please refer to the strap details shown in the product information for this specific piece.

Q: What is Monogram Vernis leather and are there any care considerations?
A: Monogram Vernis is embossed, patent-finished calf leather with a high-gloss look. Keep it away from materials that may transfer colour (dark denim, printed magazines, other leathers), avoid prolonged sunlight/heat, and store in a cool, dry place in a breathable dust bag. Wipe gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth only; avoid harsh cleaners and alcohol/acetone products.

Q: Is colour transfer on Vernis permanent?
A: Colour transfer can occur when light Vernis rubs against darker dyed materials and is often difficult or impossible to remove. Prevention is best: avoid rubbing against dark fabrics and store the bag separately from other items.

Q: The exterior looks shiny—can Vernis become sticky over time?
A: Patent finishes can feel tacky if exposed to heat or humidity. Store the bag in a cool, ventilated space, never in plastic or near radiators/windows. If the surface feels tacky, gently wipe with a clean, dry microfibre cloth only; do not use solvents.

Q: How should I care for the vachetta leather trim and handles?
A: Vachetta is untreated and will develop a natural patina. It is sensitive to water and oils, so avoid rain and contact with lotions. If it gets lightly wet, blot (don’t rub) and allow to dry naturally away from heat. Regular conditioning is not recommended unless advised by a leather-care professional.

Q: Is the bag water-resistant?
A: The Vernis coating resists light splashes, but the vachetta trim will spot with water. Wipe any moisture promptly and avoid heavy rain. Do not use waterproofing sprays, as they can damage the finish.

Q: What does the date code AA1148 mean?
A: AA indicates production in France. Using the post-2007 format, the first and third digits show the week and the second and fourth digits the year, so 1-4 = 14th week and 1-8 = 2018. This piece was made in France in the 14th week of 2018.

Q: I’ve heard Louis Vuitton now uses microchips instead of date codes—is that relevant here?
A: Louis Vuitton introduced embedded microchips from March 2021 onwards. As this item predates that change, it carries a traditional date code. Microchips are not visible and cannot be read by smartphones; they don’t replace expert authentication.

Q: What exactly is included with this item?
A: Everything included is listed in the product information for this listing. For this piece, a detachable shoulder strap is included. If an item isn’t listed there (for example a box or dust bag), it is not included.
