Louis VuittonVernis Coin Purse

Q: What fits inside this Louis Vuitton Vernis Coin Purse?
A: With measurements of approximately 13 x 9 x 0.5 cm, it is best suited to coins, folded notes, a few cards, receipts, and other slim essentials. It is a compact small leather good rather than a full-size wallet, so bulkier items may make it difficult to close comfortably.

Q: Does this coin purse have a key chain attachment?
A: Yes. According to the product information, it features an 8 cm key chain, making it practical for attaching keys or securing the pouch inside a larger bag.

Q: Can it be used for cards as well as coins?
A: Yes, it can usually hold a few standard cards alongside coins or folded cash. As it is a slim design, capacity depends on how much you place inside, so it works best for light everyday essentials rather than as an all-in-one wallet.

Q: What is Vernis leather?
A: Vernis is Louis Vuitton’s glossy patent leather with an embossed Monogram finish. It is known for its shiny, structured appearance and dressier look, which makes it especially popular in compact accessories and evening pieces.

Q: How should I care for Vernis leather?
A: Vernis leather should be handled with care. Keep it away from rough surfaces, sharp objects, prolonged sunlight, heat, and strongly dyed materials such as dark denim or magazines, as colour transfer can occur more easily on glossy small leather goods. A soft, dry cloth is best for gentle wiping after use.

Q: What condition is this item in?
A: This piece is listed in good condition. The exterior has scuffed corners, the interior shows a light trace of use, and the hardware is shiny with light scratches. Please review the product information and images carefully for the best understanding of its current vintage condition.

Q: Does this item come with any extras?
A: No. The product information states that there are no accessories included with this item.

Q: What does the date code CA4132 mean?
A: Louis Vuitton date codes of this format indicate the place and time of production. CA denotes the manufacturing location, and 4132 corresponds to the 43rd week of 2012. As with all Louis Vuitton pieces, a date code helps identify production details but is only one part of a full authenticity assessment.
