MIU MIURhinestone Ribbon Choker

Q: What kind of necklace is this?
A: This is a vintage Miu Miu rhinestone ribbon choker featuring silver-tone hardware, sparkling rhinestone embellishments, a black ribbon detail, and a lobster clasp closure.

Q: How does this choker fit?
A: It is designed to sit closely around the neck in classic choker style. The listed necklace perimeter is 34 cm, and the ribbon chain measurement is 47 cm. For the best idea of fit, we recommend comparing these measurements with a necklace you already wear comfortably.

Q: Is the fastening secure and easy to use?
A: Yes, it fastens with a lobster clasp, which is a practical and secure closure for everyday wear. As with most vintage jewellery, it is best handled gently when putting it on and taking it off.

Q: What colour and finish does it have?
A: The piece has a silver-tone finish with clear rhinestone detailing and a black ribbon accent, giving it a dressy look with a slightly romantic edge.

Q: What condition is the choker in?
A: It is listed in Very Good condition. There are light traces of use overall, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches consistent with careful previous wear.

Q: What is included with the item?
A: This piece comes with a box and dust bag, as noted in the product information.

Q: How should I style a rhinestone ribbon choker?
A: This style works especially well with open necklines such as strapless, scoop-neck, square-neck, or V-neck tops and dresses. Because it is already a statement piece, it also looks best with minimal additional jewellery.

Q: How should I care for vintage rhinestone and ribbon jewellery?
A: To help preserve the finish, avoid water, perfume, hairspray, lotions, and prolonged humidity. After wearing, gently wipe it with a soft dry cloth and store it in its dust bag or box away from direct sunlight. Do not soak it or use harsh cleaning products, as these can damage both the rhinestones and the ribbon detail.

Q: Is this piece authenticated?
A: Yes. At A Retro Tale, all items are carefully vetted by in-house experts before sale, and we stand behind the authenticity of every piece we offer.
