Bottega VenetaIntrecciato Cobble Bag

Q: What typically fits inside the Cobble Medium (approx. 27 × 20 × 9 cm)?
A: It comfortably holds daily essentials such as a smartphone, compact wallet, keys, sunglasses, a small cosmetics pouch, and a slim cardholder. A compact tablet like an iPad mini fits; a full‑size iPad or A4 documents will not.

Q: Can this Cobble be worn crossbody?
A: No. This piece has a single flat shoulder strap with an approximate drop of 22 cm, designed for shoulder carry or in the crook of the arm. It sits neatly under the arm; over bulky coats the drop may feel snug.

Q: Is the strap adjustable or removable?
A: On this specific bag the strap is fixed and not removable or adjustable. If you need a longer or crossbody option, consider using a separate strap only if compatible with the bag’s hardware and after testing for fit and security.

Q: How secure is the closure?
A: The magnetic flap closure keeps the main compartment closed during day‑to‑day use. For valuables, use the internal zipped pocket for added security and keep the bag reasonably filled to help the flap sit flush.

Q: What is the leather and finish like?
A: It is crafted in Bottega Veneta’s signature Intrecciato woven lambskin nappa with a softly padded, structured feel and gold‑tone hardware. The camel colour offers a warm, versatile neutral that develops character with careful use.

Q: Is Intrecciato lambskin durable for daily wear?
A: The weave adds strength and hides minor scuffs well, but lambskin remains a supple, premium leather that benefits from mindful use. Avoid rough surfaces and sharp objects, and do not overstuff to preserve the shape and edges.

Q: How should I care for the leather and colour?
A: Keep the bag dry and away from prolonged sunlight or heat; wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and allow to air‑dry naturally. Light colours can pick up dye from dark denim and fabrics, so minimise friction. Store stuffed in its dust bag in a cool, dry place; for deep cleaning or conditioning, consult a leather professional.

Q: What are the interior features?
A: The bag has a main compartment with a tonal woven leather interior and one internal zipped pocket, useful for securing small items like keys and cards.

Q: What accessories are included and is it authentic?
A: This item comes with a dust bag and brand booklet as listed. Every piece at A Retro Tale undergoes multi‑point authentication by our in‑house experts, checking materials, weave, hardware, stamps and overall construction, so you can purchase with confidence.
