Q: What typically fits inside this Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Top Handle Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 19 x 13 x 3 cm, this compact bag is best suited to slim daily essentials such as a phone, cardholder, keys, lipstick and a few small personal items. It is not ideal for bulkier items such as a large wallet, sunglasses case or power bank. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for exact dimensions.

Q: Does this bag have a shoulder strap?
A: No. This piece features a single braided top handle only, and no strap is listed in the current product information. The handle drop is approximately 9 cm, so it is designed to be carried in the hand.

Q: What materials and lining does this bag have?
A: This bag features black Intrecciato leather on the exterior and a black satin lining inside. It is finished with a clasp closure.

Q: Is this bag better for everyday use or occasions?
A: Its slim mini silhouette and top-handle design make it especially well suited to day-to-evening use, dinners, events and outings where you only need the essentials. It can be used in the daytime too, but it is not intended to carry larger everyday items.

Q: What is the condition of this bag?
A: The overall condition is Very Good. The exterior shows light trace of use with minor marks, while the interior shows light trace of use. We recommend reviewing all product images closely for the best view of the current condition.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: This item includes a dust bag. Everything included with the purchase is shown in the product information, so if something is not listed there, it is not included.

Q: How should I care for Intrecciato leather?
A: To help preserve the woven leather, avoid overfilling the bag, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, rain and rough surfaces. Store it in its dust bag with light stuffing to help maintain the shape. For routine care, use a soft dry cloth or a barely damp cloth for gentle wiping. For staining, loose weaving or repairs, it is best to consult a professional leather specialist.

Q: Is a serial number provided for this bag?
A: A serial number is not listed in the current product information. With vintage Bottega Veneta pieces, authenticity is assessed through the overall craftsmanship, weave, leather quality, lining, stamps and construction, rather than relying on one detail alone.

Q: Is this bag authentic?
A: A Retro Tale specialises in authentic luxury vintage pieces. This bag has been checked before listing, and if you would like any additional product information or close-up details before purchasing, you are welcome to get in touch.
