CelineTriomphe Belt, size 75

Q: How is Céline belt sizing measured?
A: Céline belt sizes are given in centimetres and typically correspond to the length from the buckle to the middle hole. This lets the belt sit on the centre hole with room to tighten or loosen as needed. If you already own a well-fitting belt, measure from the buckle to the hole you use most and match that number.

Q: What waist size does a Céline size 75 usually fit?
A: Because the measurement is to the middle hole and belts commonly have five holes spaced about 2.5 cm apart, a size 75 generally fits around 70–80 cm at the point you wear it. If you plan to wear the belt lower on the hips, measure that spot and choose accordingly.

Q: What is the width of this belt and what does that mean for styling?
A: This is the Medium Triomphe belt at approximately 25 mm wide. The slim profile works well with dresses, skirts and tailored trousers, and with jeans that have narrower loops. Please check your garment’s belt-loop width if you’re unsure.

Q: Is this belt reversible or is the buckle detachable?
A: This specific pre-owned piece is not listed as reversible and the buckle is shown as a fixed Triomphe pin buckle. While some current Céline collections offer detachable Triomphe buckles and reversible straps, this item does not include those features—please refer to the photos and product information on this page.

Q: How do I check if size 75 is right for me?
A: Use a soft tape measure around the spot you intend to wear the belt (natural waist for dresses, or lower on the hips for denim). Choose the belt size closest to that measurement in centimetres. Ideally, the prong should close on or near the middle hole; the typical five-hole layout provides about 5 cm of adjustment either way.

Q: How should I care for the leather and hardware?
A: Wipe the leather and buckle gently with a soft, dry cloth after wear. Keep away from water, oils, perfumes and alcohol-based products, and avoid overfilling or bending sharply to prevent stretching the holes. Store the belt rolled loosely in its box or a breathable dust bag, away from heat and direct sunlight.

Q: Can extra holes be added or the strap shortened?
A: A professional leather specialist can add holes or shorten a belt, but any modification is at the owner’s discretion and may affect aesthetics and resale value. If you’re between sizes, it’s usually better to size based on your exact measurement rather than rely on later alterations.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: This piece comes with its box. Everything included is listed in the product information section; if something isn’t listed there, it is not included.

Q: What is the condition of this belt?
A: Very Good overall. There are slightly stretched holes on the strap, a light trace of use on the interior, and gold-tone hardware that remains shiny with light scratches. Please review all photos for close-up details.

Q: Where is it made and is it authentic?
A: The belt is made in Italy. Every item at A Retro Tale is carefully authenticated by our in-house experts using multi-point checks of materials, stitching, stamps and hardware; we stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell.
