ChanelCambon Ligne Crossbody Bag

Q: What typically fits inside this Chanel Cambon Ligne Crossbody Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 23 x 19 x 3 cm, this slim crossbody is best suited to daily essentials such as a phone, card holder or small wallet, keys, lipstick, tissues and other compact items. Its flat profile makes it ideal for light everyday use rather than bulkier belongings. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for exact dimensions.

Q: Can this bag be worn comfortably as a crossbody?
A: Yes. This bag is designed as a crossbody style and has a single leather strap with an approximate drop of 60 cm. The fit will vary depending on your height and frame, but it is intended to sit hands-free across the body for easy everyday wear.

Q: What are the signature features of the Chanel Cambon Ligne?
A: The Cambon Ligne is known for its diamond quilting, oversized patent CC logo and bold contrast lining. This particular piece features brown quilted leather, a patent CC logo, silver-tone hardware, an exterior slip pocket, orange CC jacquard lining, one internal zip pocket and a top zip closure.

Q: Is this an authentic vintage Chanel bag, and what does the serial number indicate?
A: This is a vintage Chanel piece and it includes a serial number tag. The listed serial number begins with 10, which corresponds to production in 2005 to 2006. As with all items sold by A Retro Tale, the bag has been professionally vetted for authenticity.

Q: What accessories are included with this bag?
A: This item includes the serial number tag. Everything included is stated in the product information; if an item such as a dust bag, box or authenticity card is not listed there, it is not included with this piece.

Q: What is the condition of this bag?
A: The overall condition is rated Very Good Condition with light trace of use. Externally, there are light signs of wear. Internally, there is discolouration on the lining. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches. We recommend reviewing all product photos carefully for the most accurate impression of condition.

Q: How should I care for the leather and patent logo?
A: To help preserve the bag, avoid overfilling it and keep it away from prolonged sunlight, artificial light and humidity. Use a soft cloth only, and avoid heavy leather treatments or harsh cleaners that could alter the finish. Because this style combines leather with a patent logo, it is best stored upright in a dust bag and away from dark or colour-transfer-prone materials.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: According to the product information, this Chanel Cambon Ligne Crossbody Bag was made in Italy.
