ChanelCC Patent Tote Bag

Q: What colour and finish is this Chanel CC Patent Tote Bag?
A: This bag is black with a glossy patent finish.

Q: What are the dimensions of this bag?
A: It measures 30 cm wide × 28 cm high × 3 cm deep. The listed handle measurement is 25 cm.

Q: What can fit inside, and will it hold a laptop?
A: The shallow 3 cm depth makes it better suited to slim essentials than bulky belongings. Laptop fit has not been confirmed; compare your device and its case with the listed dimensions, allowing for the bag’s opening and usable interior space. Avoid overfilling.

Q: Can this tote be worn over the shoulder?
A: The listed handle measurement is 25 cm, but the product information does not specify whether this is the handle drop. Shoulder fit therefore cannot be confirmed. No separate shoulder strap is listed in the product information.

Q: What condition is this pre-owned bag in?
A: It is rated Very Good Condition. The exterior shows light signs of use, the interior is in very good condition with discolouration, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: When was this Chanel tote made?
A: The product information dates the bag to 2008–2009 and lists the partially masked serial number as 12******.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: The country of origin is listed as France.

Q: What comes with this bag?
A: An authenticity card and serial number tag are listed in the product information. A box and dust bag are not listed, so please do not assume they are included.

Q: How should I clean and care for the patent finish?
A: Gently wipe it with a soft cloth and avoid care products that could alter the finish. Protect the bag from prolonged sunlight and moisture. If it gets wet, carefully blot the affected area with an absorbent, lint-free cloth. For persistent marks, seek specialist advice rather than trying household cleaning remedies.

Q: How should I store this vintage Chanel tote?
A: Store it upright in a suitable protective pouch, away from prolonged light and moisture. Protect the handles with tissue paper and avoid prolonged contact with other coloured materials, which can cause dye transfer. A storage pouch is not listed in this item’s product information.
