ChanelClassic Medium Double Flap Bag

Q: What fits inside the Chanel Classic Medium Double Flap Bag?
A: With measurements of approximately 25 x 16 x 6.5 cm, this medium size is well suited to daily essentials such as a phone, a compact wallet or cardholder, keys, lipstick, and a few slim extras. Because it is a structured double-flap design, it is not ideal for bulkier items such as a long continental wallet, water bottle, or tablet.

Q: Can this bag be worn on the shoulder or crossbody?
A: Yes, it is designed primarily as a shoulder bag. The strap drop is approximately 24 cm when doubled and 44 cm when worn longer. On most adults, the longer drop sits best on the shoulder rather than crossbody, though the fit can vary depending on height and frame.

Q: What does double flap mean?
A: A double flap has the classic outer flap as well as a second inner flap inside the bag. Buyers often like this construction because it adds structure and helps the bag keep its shape, but it also slightly reduces usable space and can feel a little heavier than a single-flap style.

Q: Is lambskin leather delicate?
A: Yes. Lambskin is prized for its exceptionally soft, supple feel, but it is more delicate than grained leathers and can show scratches, corner wear, and rubbing more easily. This is especially important with a vintage piece like this one, which already shows some signs of wear consistent with age and use.

Q: How should I care for and store this bag?
A: Avoid overfilling it, keep it away from prolonged sunlight, humidity, perfume, and cosmetics, and use only a soft cloth for light surface care. For storage, keep it upright, lightly stuffed to help maintain the shape, and protect the chain so it does not press into the leather. Lambskin should always be handled gently.

Q: What is the condition of this particular bag?
A: It is listed in very good vintage condition. The exterior leather shows some wear, including scuffing on the corners and a mark on the back pocket. The interior has some traces of use on the leather, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: What product information is included with this bag?
A: This bag includes its serial number tag. No authenticity card, box, or other additional product information is listed for this piece, so only the items specifically mentioned on the product page should be expected to be included.

Q: Is the medium size a good day-to-evening option?
A: Yes, this is one of the reasons the medium Classic Flap is so sought after. It is roomy enough for essentials during the day while still looking elegant for evening use, making it one of the most versatile sizes in the Chanel flap family.
