Q: What are the dimensions of this Chanel tote?
A: It measures approximately 29 cm wide, 24 cm high and 6.5 cm deep. The listed strap measurement is 42 cm; this is not specified as a shoulder drop.

Q: What can I fit inside?
A: Its dimensions make it suitable for everyday essentials such as a wallet, phone, keys and a small make-up pouch. Fit depends on the size of your belongings, and overfilling may affect the bag’s shape.

Q: Will it fit a laptop?
A: Laptop fit has not been confirmed for this bag. Its exterior width is 29 cm, but the usable interior and zip opening may be smaller, so compare your laptop’s dimensions before purchasing.

Q: Can I carry it on my shoulder?
A: It is categorised as a shoulder bag and has a listed strap measurement of 42 cm. How it sits will depend on your build and clothing; a shoulder drop measurement is not provided.

Q: Does the bag have a zip fastening?
A: It is identified as a Zip Tote Bag. The product information does not specify the arrangement of any additional pockets or compartments.

Q: What condition is this pre-owned bag in?
A: It is in Very Good Condition overall. The exterior has minor creasing and indentations in the leather, the interior shows light traces of use, and the shiny hardware has light scratches.

Q: Is lambskin suitable for everyday use?
A: Lambskin is valued for its soft feel but benefits from careful handling. Avoid overfilling the tote and take care around rough surfaces, sharp objects and moisture.

Q: How should I care for and store the bag?
A: Gently wipe it with a soft cloth and avoid products that could alter the leather’s finish. If it gets wet, carefully dry it with an absorbent, non-pilling cloth. Store it upright, away from prolonged light and moisture, with the straps protected from pressing into the leather.

Q: What comes with this bag?
A: An authenticity card and serial number tag are listed in the product information. A box or dust bag is not listed as included.

Q: Is this Chanel bag authentic, and where was it made?
A: A Retro Tale states that its experts authenticate the bags it sells. This bag’s listed serial number is 1447703, and its country-of-origin label is France. A serial number alone should not be treated as proof of authenticity.
