Louis VuittonMonogram Keepall 45 Weekend Bag

Q: What are the measurements of this Louis Vuitton Monogram Keepall 45?
A: This bag measures approximately 45 cm wide × 25 cm high × 20 cm deep, with a handle drop of 9 cm. These are the measurements of this particular pre-owned piece.

Q: What can I fit inside the Keepall 45?
A: The Keepall 45 is suited to overnight stays and lightly packed weekend trips. A few changes of clothing, a compact toiletry bag and small travel essentials are a practical starting point. Space for shoes or bulkier items depends on how you pack; avoid overfilling the bag.

Q: Can I use this bag as cabin luggage?
A: The Keepall 45 is a cabin-sized travel bag, but acceptance depends on your airline and ticket allowance. Compare this piece’s measurements of 45 × 25 × 20 cm with your airline’s current size and weight limits before travelling. Do not assume it qualifies as an additional under-seat personal item.

Q: Does this bag come with a shoulder strap?
A: No shoulder strap is listed in the product information. This piece is listed as the classic Keepall 45 rather than the Bandoulière version and is intended for hand carrying. Its handle drop is approximately 9 cm.

Q: What condition is this particular bag in?
A: This bag is in Very Good Condition. Both the exterior and interior show light traces of use, while the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. It is pre-owned rather than new, so please review the product photographs for the visible signs of wear.

Q: What comes with this bag?
A: The product information lists a padlock, key and luggage tag. A shoulder strap, dust bag and box are not listed as included.

Q: Is the Monogram exterior leather?
A: The classic Monogram Keepall has a coated-canvas body with natural cowhide-leather trim and handles, rather than an all-leather exterior. The canvas and leather require different care, particularly because natural leather can mark and darken over time.

Q: How should I clean and store this vintage Keepall?
A: Gently wipe the canvas with a soft, slightly damp cloth, keeping moisture away from the natural leather trim. Avoid solvents, alcohol-based cleaners, oils and abrasive rubbing. If the leather gets wet, blot it promptly with a light-coloured, lint-free cloth. Store the bag in a breathable protective cover in a ventilated place, away from direct sunlight and heat, and avoid overpacking it.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: This particular bag is listed as made in France. Its recorded code is SP1917.
