PradaCahier Animalier Bag

Q: What typically fits inside the Prada Cahier Animalier Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 23 x 18 x 9 cm, this small structured bag is best for daily essentials rather than bulky items. It should comfortably hold a mobile phone, card holder or compact purse, keys, lipstick, and a few small extras. Because the shape is structured, packing slimmer items works best.

Q: Will it fit a mobile phone?
A: Yes, most standard smartphones should fit comfortably inside. If you use a very large phone case or carry several bulkier items, the structured interior may feel more compact, so lighter packing is recommended.

Q: How can this bag be carried?
A: This piece offers two ways to wear it: by the single top handle or with the detachable shoulder strap. The handle drop is approximately 15 cm and the strap drop is approximately 44 cm, making it a versatile option for hand carry or shoulder wear.

Q: What materials is this bag made from?
A: This bag is crafted in black Saffiano and smooth leather with gold-tone hardware and a black leather lining. The mix of textured and smooth leather gives the Cahier design its structured, book-inspired look.

Q: How is the inside organised?
A: The interior is lined in black leather and includes one internal pocket for smaller essentials. The flap closure helps keep the contents secure while maintaining the bag’s structured silhouette.

Q: What condition is this item in?
A: The overall condition is rated Very Good. The exterior and interior both show light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. This means the bag presents beautifully while still showing gentle signs of prior wear consistent with a well-kept pre-owned piece.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: Everything included with this piece is listed in the product information: box, dust bag, and detachable shoulder strap.

Q: How should I care for this bag?
A: To help preserve both the Saffiano and smooth leather, wipe it gently with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth, avoid overfilling it, and keep it away from prolonged sunlight, heat, and heavy rain. When not in use, store it in its dust bag and box, ideally lightly stuffed to help maintain the shape.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Every item sold by A Retro Tale is reviewed by specialists using material, construction, hardware, branding, and overall consistency checks. This piece is offered as an authenticated pre-owned Prada bag.
