Saint LaurentLogo Rhinestone Brooch

Q: What are the dimensions of this brooch?
A: This brooch measures approximately 8 cm in width, 2 cm in height and 1 cm in depth. Its elongated logo shape makes it easy to style on a lapel, knitwear or scarf without looking overly bulky.

Q: Is this brooch made of solid silver?
A: No, the listing describes it as silver-tone metal. This means it has a silver-coloured finish rather than being listed as solid silver.

Q: How does the brooch fasten?
A: It features a classic pin closure on the back. For the most secure hold, fasten it through a stable part of the fabric and check that the clasp is fully closed before wearing.

Q: Where can I wear a Saint Laurent logo brooch like this?
A: A logo brooch like this works beautifully on a blazer lapel, coat collar, jumper, scarf or the shoulder of a dress. The rhinestone detailing also makes it a lovely choice for evening or occasion wear.

Q: Is it suitable for delicate fabrics?
A: Pin closures can leave a small hole in very fine fabrics such as silk or lightweight satin. If you plan to wear it on delicate materials, handle it gently and choose an area with a little more structure or reinforcement.

Q: What condition is this vintage piece in?
A: The overall condition is rated Very Good, with light traces of use. Please note that the hardware shows tarnishing and scratches, which is consistent with age and previous wear.

Q: Does it come with any original product information or packaging?
A: No, this item is listed with no original product information included. If an item such as a box, pouch or authenticity card is not stated on the product page, it is not included with the purchase.

Q: How should I care for a vintage rhinestone brooch?
A: Wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth after wear and store it separately in a dry place. Avoid water, perfume, hairspray and harsh cleaners, as moisture and chemicals can dull rhinestones and affect plated metal over time.

Q: How can I tell if a Saint Laurent brooch is authentic?
A: Buyers usually look closely at the overall finish, logo or signature details, clasp construction and the quality of the stone setting. This piece has been carefully reviewed before sale, and as with all vintage designer jewellery, close attention to craftsmanship is key.
