Q: What does the Elsa Peretti Bean design represent?
A: Designed by Elsa Peretti for Tiffany & Co., the Bean motif symbolises the origins of life. Its smooth, organic contours are inspired by the beauty of nature.

Q: What is the necklace made from?
A: This necklace is listed as silver. Tiffany & Co.’s silver Bean designs are made in sterling silver.

Q: How long is this necklace?
A: The listed necklace length is 41 cm. To check your preferred fit, compare this measurement with a necklace you already own. The pendant’s dimensions are not specified in the product information.

Q: What condition is this pre-owned necklace in?
A: This necklace is rated Good Condition. Its finish is described as shiny with light scratches, so it shows some signs of previous wear. Please review the product photographs for a closer look.

Q: Does it come with a Tiffany box or pouch?
A: No accessories are included, according to the product information. A Tiffany box or pouch is therefore not supplied with this necklace.

Q: Can I wear this necklace every day?
A: Yes, with appropriate care. Tiffany encourages regular wear of its sterling silver jewellery, but recommends removing it before exercise, household chores and activities that could expose it to chemicals or damage.

Q: Can I wear it in the shower or while swimming?
A: Tiffany recommends removing jewellery before showering, bathing or swimming. Avoid chlorine, bleach and exposure to salt water, which can accelerate silver tarnishing.

Q: Will the silver tarnish, and how should I clean it?
A: Sterling silver can naturally tarnish over time. Following Tiffany’s care guidance, gently clean it with a small amount of suitable silver jewellery cleaner on a soft cloth, rinse thoroughly in warm water and dry carefully. Avoid harsh chemicals and aggressive rubbing.

Q: How should I store this necklace?
A: Store it clean and completely dry in a soft, tarnish-resistant jewellery pouch, keeping it separate from other pieces to help prevent scratches. A storage pouch would need to be provided separately, as none is included.
