Christian DiorMedium Lady Dior Bag

Q: What fits inside this Christian Dior Medium Lady Dior Bag?
A: With measurements of approximately 24 x 21 x 12 cm, this medium size is well suited to everyday essentials such as a wallet, phone, card holder, sunglasses, keys and a few small cosmetic items. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for the exact size of this specific bag.

Q: Does this bag come with a shoulder strap?
A: No. According to the product information, this item comes with no accessories. While some Medium Lady Dior bags were originally sold with a removable strap, this specific vintage piece is offered as listed on this page.

Q: Is this bag suitable for everyday use?
A: Yes, the Medium Lady Dior is one of the most practical sizes in the line and is often chosen for day-to-day use thanks to its structured shape and good capacity. That said, this is a vintage leather bag in good condition, so gentle handling is recommended to help preserve it over time.

Q: What material and design details does this bag feature?
A: This bag is crafted in yellow Cannage leather with gold-tone hardware, dual top handles, tonal jacquard lining, one internal zip pocket and a top zip closure. The Cannage motif is one of Dior’s most recognisable signature patterns and is closely associated with the Lady Dior line.

Q: What is the condition of this bag?
A: This item is rated in good condition. The exterior shows rubbing and scuffing on the corners and edges, the interior has stains, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. These signs of wear are consistent with a well-kept vintage piece.

Q: Is the Medium Lady Dior a heavy bag?
A: The medium size has a structured construction, so it can feel more substantial than softer handbags, especially when fully packed. Many buyers choose it for its polished shape and capacity, but it is best suited to carrying daily essentials rather than overfilling it.

Q: How should I care for vintage Cannage leather?
A: We recommend handling it with clean, dry hands and avoiding rough surfaces, rain, prolonged direct sunlight and overstuffing. To maintain the bag’s shape, store it lightly filled with tissue and keep it in a soft breathable bag when not in use. For stains or deeper conditioning, use a trusted leather specialist familiar with luxury bags.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: According to the product information, this bag was made in Italy.

Q: Is this bag authenticated?
A: Yes. A Retro Tale carefully vets its designer items for authenticity using detailed checks of construction, materials, hardware and brand-specific details, so you can shop pre-owned luxury with confidence.
