Q: What typically fits inside the Garden Party 36?

Q: Is this bag carried by hand or on the shoulder?
A: The Garden Party 36 is known as a practical tote shape, and this piece has dual rolled leather handles with an approximately 13 cm drop. It is best suited to hand carry or carrying in the crook of the arm, and may fit on the shoulder for some wearers depending on build and clothing layers.

Q: What materials is this particular bag made from?
A: This specific piece is crafted in Rocabar striped wool with dark brown leather trim, finished with silver-tone hardware. The interior is wool with a leather base, and the bag closes with a snap button at the top.

Q: Does this bag have a zip closure or pockets inside?

Q: What is the condition of this bag?
A: This item is listed in very good condition. There are small holes on the wool exterior, light traces of use inside, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. As with all vintage pieces, gentle signs of wear are part of the bag’s history and character.

Q: What product information is included with the bag?
A: This bag comes with a dust bag. Everything included is listed under the product information section, so if another item is not mentioned there, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: What does the serial stamp 2017 A mean?
A: The stamp indicates a 2017 production year for this Hermès bag. For collectors and buyers of pre-owned Hermès, the blind stamp is one of the key details used to identify the bag’s production period alongside materials, craftsmanship and hardware details.

Q: How should I care for a wool and leather Garden Party bag like this one?
A: Handle it with care and avoid overfilling to help preserve the shape. Keep the wool and leather away from prolonged moisture, direct sunlight, excess heat and rough surfaces. If the leather comes into contact with water, gently blot it with a soft cloth, and when not in use, store the bag in its dust bag in a dry place.

Q: Is the Garden Party 36 a good everyday bag?
A: Yes, the Garden Party 36 is widely loved for its understated look and practical capacity. This Rocabar version adds a softer, more textured feel than standard canvas or all-leather editions, making it a stylish choice for everyday use while still offering the easy functionality the model is known for.
